My schnauzer got an ear hematoma and needed surgery. I absolutely hate those stiff cones they give you at the vet, so I decided to give this air collar a try and I’m so glad I did!It was gentle and not too tight, looked adorable, and best of all, it actually worked. My Lily was able to rest comfortably on it like a little travel pillow (LOL). It kept her from scratching or shaking her ears and allowed her to heal properly.She’s now 100% recovered, and I honestly think this cute little doughnut made all the difference. If it wasn't for this, the healing would have taken forever because she kept trying to scratch it through the collar. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this product! It’s comfier than the traditional plastic cone and cuter! My puppy is able to eat and drink with it on too. She got spayed so she wasn’t able to lick her wound either. She’s able to sleep with it on too. I suggest putting it on your dog for short periods of time before the surgery so that they can get used to it. She’s a maltipoo and is 6.3lbs, we got the size small and it fits perfectly. We have had no issue with it losing air, like other people have said in other reviews. It was difficult to blow air in it, so I suggest an air pump etc. Other than that, I highly recommend getting this cone for your dog!

Very nice donut. As described, it has a smooth nonstick fabric. I found that with our other name brand donut, the material has brushed fiber to it, and while it is find for dry wounds, anything that may have seepage was sticking and drying to the material. Was gross. My boy had a couple of nasty hot spots on his face last year, so until I was looking for another donut for another dog, I didnt realize this type of material was available. So while I am not using this on him at this time (no need), I did buy it with him in mind even though I got it for our girl who got spayed.Her neck is 18-19". I chose the XXL as it is to fit sizes 18"-23". I could have gone with size smaller, but this works. It fits as expected- lightly loose with a lot of strap left over, but it stays on fine with use with a collar (I always use a collar to help keep any donut on and in place). I do wish that the velcro extended the length of the strap so that way there is no excess dangling. I found this true with our other brand as well.Material is smooth and soft. To inflate, just pull the tab out, squeeze the nozzle, blow in air, let go, then cap it.Color and design is adorable.Keep in mind that donuts only work so long as dog isnt too long or too flexible to just bend over and reach their wounds or surgery spots. Keep fully inflated to firm for best hindrance.5 stars for meeting or exceeding expectation.

EDIT: the company reached out to make it right. The customer service and how they stand behind their product is impressive.EDIT: The tape held, but the donut sprung another leak. It is now unusable after 6 days of use.This is such a cool product. Very functional and don’t have to monitor the cone running into everything. I love the cute donut design and the cover that comes off to wash. It inflates very easy. I’m giving 3 stars only because it came apart at the seams after 4 days of use. It taped up nicely but my dog was no where near hard on it.

What an improvement over the plastic lampshade! Let's face it--needing to use a protective collar is not fun for anyone, but this collar does a good job of making things a little less terrible. Rocky is so much more comfortable as he recovers from his wound. I bought a second donut so that one can be in the laundry. Rocky weighs 10 pounds, and size small fits snugly yet comfortably. The fabric is very strong and sleek. I do remove the donut when he's eating and when walking. I can confirm that the reviews and sales numbers are right on. You will need to use a regular dog collar with this donut, by the way. We always walk with a harness, but use a regular dog collar to fit this donut.

My little guy still isn’t thrilled about his neuter but this inflatable donut collar seems much comfier than a traditional Elizabethan collar. Not to mention it’s super cute. He hasn’t been thrashing around trying to get it off and he can eat, drink, sleep, and chew on his toys comfortably while wearing it. I will say it will not stop your dog from reaching their paws so not an ideal design for any injuries on their feeties but it’s perfect for incision cites on the stomach or groin. I had no issues blowing it up and it retains air well enough. I didn’t blow it up all the way so it still has a little give for comfort and it’s still preventing him from chewing at his stitches. For sizing reference my dog is currently 5lbs and wearing a size X-Small.
