I loved this purchase so much and thought it was so good that I ended up becoming a rep for the company!It’s great for oily skin and gives you a smooth, matte base for your make up. The only thing that I would love for the company to do is make more of a color variety. They have dark and light, but nothing in between. The light one can be a little bit too light. If you struggle with oily skin and have been looking for a product to solve the problem and not just deal with it…this is it! As someone with oily skin who sweats easily, this has been what I’ve been looking for my whole life! It just plain works!!! I’ve found I must wear a moisturizer underneath out my skin does dry out, but even with a moisturized base…it works. This has been a game changer for me. Don’t wait…just buy it. You won’t regret it! By the way…I never do reviews but figured, after 2 years of using Carpe Face Primer daily, it was worthy of a review.

This stuff sucks. It never absorbs into your skin, it’s like silicone-y, and has a very weird texture that just sits on top of your skin. Idk how to describe it but if you put something on under your makeup that hasn’t absorbed, it’s just gonna get mixed in with the makeup and not do what it’s intended to do. For all my oily skin folks out there, if you’re looking for something mattifying, oil blocking and will leave your makeup looking good all day, get the Panoxyl Oil Control Moisturizer - it’s life changing!

The media could not be loaded. I've not tried a "tinted primer" before, much less one that claims to reduce sweating. The tint seems to disappear, but after I took a video showing the product on half my face, you can actually tell a difference. (I hate how I look without lashes, so excuse the face, but I feel this video would help others)I have rosacea, so I didn't expect it to work miracles, but I did notice that my completion looked more evened out than without it. For days when I don't feel like foundation is worth it since I'd sweat it off 😂 haven't tried it under makeup yet. If I do, I will probably update my review.Overall very interesting product. And seems to work on keeping my face less oily during work if I put a mattifying powder over it. I'm just wondering if I'd buy it again because of the price honestly

I love most of the Carpe brand and was excited to try this product, however it did not work as well as I had hoped for a few reasons. When I used as much primer as I usually do with my foundation it felt greasy and that I had too much on and my makeup just did not set at all. When I used a much smaller amount I felt like it was still greasy and I know I was not benefitting from enough of the SPF etc because of the small amount I was using. The texture was like a light mousse but it just did not feel like it absorbed into my skin the way a primer usually does. Finally it caused me to have some break outs, I have super sensitive skin but I am in my 40's so I am not a fan of getting a handful of pimples all of a sudden. I do use it sometimes just on my forehead and around where my glasses sit to prevent some excess sweating and I still get a few pimples but I think it helps a bit. I may try a different foundation at some point, but I like my current foundation well and my other primers work fine with it. Overall as it is today I won't purchase again, although I really wanted to love this product.

Not only does it work as far as a great primer(I’m a forever urban decay all-nighter girl)…. But the fact that it is 30 spf is a game changer for me.Let me preface this by saying, EVERY SUN SCREEN I’ve ever put on my face breaks me out. This does not.I find myself just using it as for sunscreen without even putting makeup over it because it feels so nice and protects me.As far as the price, a very little amount goes a long way and I think for how well it works, it’s 100% worth it.

This product is amazing, wards of excessive sweat and totally retains makeup to stay on the face! Major sweater and this makes sweat on my face unnoticeable!

So I had been on the fence about this product. I bobbed and weave for a long time, but I finally broke down and bought it. I used it for a couple weeks and found that it made my face feel kind of slimy. Also, if it's a sunscreen, it needs to be reapplied. I'm hardly going to be reapplying this in the middle of my day. Day. I'm a teacher, so sometimes I'm really hot or I'm outside in the sun. This seems like a great product, but it really didn't work for a long day.
