Perfect for my setup!
UPDATE: These cases are perfect! If the case is sliding open that means the case was not fully closed. Also, the shallow rims that prevent scratching are good for stacking without the card cases sliding around.LOVE! The slide cases neatly stack on top of each other and the front/back side surfaces are recessed to prevent scratching. These Gamegenic slide card cases fit into the Gamegenic Bastion deck boxes. The Gamegenic deck boxes fit into my BCW collectible card bin. The VaultX exact fit card sleeves fit perfectly into the Gamegenic slide cards. No card movement in the slide case and little to no movement of the slide case in the Gamegenic deck box. Slide cards stay locked when fully closed, but the sliding mechanism is not smooth. I like that the slide cases are UV protected, but I have not tested the capability. Ultimately a WIN in my book!

Don't let the "loose" slide fool you...
There's some nuance to these cases. I use them specifically for my custom-made deck boxes as a display for cards that double as the lock for the box. So to say I rely heavily on them is an understatement. They're great design means they won't scratch easily (thanks to a small bezel/rim on the front and back), and they allow for your card to stay seated and locked in place *as long as you follow the directions on how to put it in*. I cannot stress that enough. They need to be slid in against the front part of the case for them to seat properly.Aside from that little quirk they're great for expensive pieces like equipment or heroes in Flesh & Blood TCG, or as a display card holder for Magic's commander decks.

I like them, but there may be better options.
I love these. Every commander deck I have uses these for the commander. The only problem is the same with any gamegenics acrylic product I've had. Either they have duds that don't stay closed, or it wears down over time.I'm not sure if there are other options, but for now I recommend these.

Solid Protection
These slide cases are leagues above normal top loaders. I can feel the quality instantly even with it being a simple design. My commanders are well protected in these.

It's fine, but there are some things that could be refined
The case itself seems very durable and I'm not at all worried that the card I'm storing inside will be damaged in any way. However, those lines that other reviews have talked about are certainly noticeable and I found that it is more noticeable on some of the cases than others. I want to also say that I don't think the front of the case is the side with those lines either, so I think there might be a little bit of user error on their end. The slide mechanism works well, but again, like other reviews have said, the latch isn't very tight sometimes. Some of the cases are really solid and hard to slide open, which I think is good. Some of them are a little too easy to slide open. The lip of the case that is supposed to allow these cases to stack on top of each other is for sure a little bit too aggressive and I think it would be better if it was smaller. All in all, I think the product is fine and I like the idea compared to mini snaps, since I've also had issues with those (like them just falling open when fidgeting with them). However, it is obvious that there is a consistency issue between the cases that needs to be addressed. The lines on the cases should also probably not be there, but since I think it's on the back, it's forgivable.

Terrible first impression
Was excited to try the product, but quickly disappointed. On the inside of ALL 12 cases, there are 4 seam lines of varying depth and width, 2 of which are visible through the plastic team bags in which they are shipped. They're symmetrically located on the case, but the 1st and 4th are prominent enough to cast shadows on the card under sunlight, and the 2nd and 3rd are only visible at certain angles of light. The fact that the lines are on the interior of the cases and are identically placed on the several cases makes me feel as if this is a manufacturer's defect and not damage that could've resulted by delivery. Fortunately the seam lines are only on the inner side of one half of the cases so if you only care about 1 side of the cards you're protecting being visible, then it's still usable. While not a defect, it might be helpful to note that the cases are designed to be stackable with a _|___|_ (the side with the lines) and _|‾‾‾‾|_ design. Since I plan on using this just to only protect 1 card in a TCG deck, neither side of the case feels like it could be squashed in with a sleeved deck without leaving an impression. Obviously, don't overstuff your deck box if you're using this, but it's just another thing to worry about.I was really hopeful for this product based on Gamegenic's nice deck boxes and the product pictures, but it's like ordering a card advertised as "near mint" and finding out it's closer to "moderately played". Between the seam line defect and stackable design, I wouldn't recommend this item for people looking to protect their leader/commander card in the relevant TCG deck.

Absolutely Perfect, Exactly What I Needed
I've been needing a solution for hard-casing my One Piece Leader Cards and I was getting tired of the huge Ultra-Pro "coffins" that take up too much space. This is it, this is exactly what I was looking for. It's barely any bigger than the size of the card and fits directly into a deck box, even the small ones that come with the Monster Hydra. You can fit a perfect-fit sleeved card snugly into the case and it won't move around. I'm not sure what people are going on about when they say the lock doesn't work or they randomly slide open, all 8 of the ones I used were just fine. So long as you don't plan to YEET your cards across the room these will work great. I imagine in might open up if you dropped it on the floor or stepped on it though.
