Q: Why doesn't the gaslift fit securely in the base? Can’t make it go in any further. Help!

If I remember, there was a plastic shipping piece that has to be discarded from the gas strut.

Q: What is the Highest height of the seat. I am looking for 33” for my custom counter

It's only 29", then when you sit on it the seat goes down even more.

Q: Why isn't the gas lift more secure in the base? Mine is wobbly. (May have asked before, sorry if I did but don't see it posted so not sure.)

Did you take the plastic end caps off the piston as well as the base? Once you take those off it slides securely into place.
