Interesting Book
After hearing about grounding I bought this book to learn more about it. A good book with interesting information. I do see a positive effect from grounding, especially grounding while sleeping. Really want to try barefoot outdoor grounding…but too big of an issue here with deer ticks to risk doing that. So just doing the indoor grounding for now.

This is Great
This book is an Earthsend! People have been disconnected from the earth by various means for a long time and we have also been increasingly surrounded by electrical things. Many of these electrical things have powerful or far reaching electrical fields. Where is our defense for this? We have an epidemic of inflammation which impacts so many parts of our body. This book sheds light on the significance of Earthing and absorption of electrons. I look forward to the advancement of scientific studies in this field of thought!Copied from my review of the "hooga" earthing mat:"I really like this mat! I keep it under one layer of sheet where my calves rest at night. I have verified with a digital multimeter that this mat does indeed, even through a layer of sheet, reduce body electrical charge. It's great to know that I have an anti-inflammatory mat all the while I'm sleeping and don't have to go barefoot much of the time to try to "replenish" electrons, but rather can more or less get electrons in my resting times with mats. I also keep a mat on my computer chair which similarly reduces body electrical charge. This mat came for free with the Earthing book by Ober, Sinatra and Zucker. It's great to have a mat close to where electronics are. The reality of electrical fields is that proximity is king. You do not want to live near main power lines likes those that track over mountaintops or in the middle of nowhere or somewhat distant from yet parallel to a highway. That's because they give off a massive electrical field which is more powerful the closer you are to them. This is very dangerous and palpable. Appliances like printers and computers are similar; they give off fields which amplify evermore the closer you get to the device.I used to be worried about Wi-Fi routers but it seems that they give off radio waves. However, electrical lines like extension cords and cords in your walls will give off an EMF field, as will lights, radios, DVD players, TVs, appliances, and anything electrical. It helps to have an EMF detector to see just how powerful these fields are and how far out they go. This is particularly useful to figure out if your sleeping area is free enough of electromagnetic fields (especially near the wall), and as well to figure out if an area where you sit for long periods of time has strong EMFs (and from where the EMFs originate). For the same reason, having an earthing mat in these two areas is a major defense mechanism to body electrification and you can "drink" these electrons effortlessly."

Wonderful book
Wonderful book. I've also bought grounding sheets and practice this every day.

EARTHING HAS ENORMOUS HEALTH BENEFITS, BUT THERE'S A VASTLY SUPERIOR PATCH TO EARTHING'S FOR LOCALIZED PAIN
First, I have been using three of the earthing technologies now for four years with many positive health benefits. In my 2013 book, ENERGY MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIES, I included a chapter on Earthing and its benefits.Unfortunately, the Earthing company itself can be difficult to deal with. The order taker is often argumentative. Once I waited for more than a month for order to arrive only to learn that it never been shipped. On two other occasions the order taker refuse to take my orders.HERE I WANT TO OFFER USERS OF EARTHING PATCHES A VASTLY SUPERIOR AND CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE. If you happen to be a user of the Earthing patches (similar to EKG patches) to achieve relief in localized areas of the body, there are numerous problems with the patches Earthing offers. 1. They are expensive and come with a $10 shipping charge. 2. The adhesive quality of the patches is poor and does not last long (about half a dozen uses before they become useless). 3. The adhesive will often pull off on one's skin, which is not easy to remove, and if it happens to get on clothing, bed sheets, carpets, or anything else, they are pretty much ruined. After two years of searching for an alternative patch, I have found one that is vastly superior. 1. It cost half as much and comes with free shipping. 2. The area covered by the patch is twice that of Earthling's patches. 3. Unlike the Earthing patches, the adhesive is thick, comfortable, does not come off, and appears to last indefinitely. 4. The patch I'm about to recommend fits well with Earthing's devices, but is slightly looser. The benefit of this is that when you have these patches – HEATNCLICK patches available at www.heatnclick.com -- you can easily disconnect Earthing's wire from the patch if you need to grab a bite of food or make a bathroom run, then easily reattach the Earthing wire. This is difficult to do with the Earthing patches, and taking them off frequently quickly destroys their adhesive value. Should you wish to attach patches at night while you sleep, as I do to an injured left shoulder, the HEATNCLICK patches could come loose from the wiring if you turn and toss. I found an easy solution – given that HEATNCLICK patches seem never to wear out – and that is to firmly attached the Earthing wire to each HEATNCLICK patch, then place a drop of crazy glue such as Gorilla glue on either side of the Earthing attachment so that it is glued to the HEATNCLICK patch. This way no turning and tossing will cause the patch to break free.As for my personal benefits from Earthing, for eight years I suffered 24/7 from considerable leg pain due to neuropathy. After some 18 to 20 months of sleeping on the Earthing half-sheet, I realized Earthing and completely healed my legs of the neuropathy. For two and half years now I've had no problem with neuropathy. What worked for me may not work for everyone, but this is a benefit Earthing has not investigated.I have a left shoulder that has been seriously injured three times in my life, and I attach three or four patches to it each night as I sleep and by the next morning 90-95% of the pain is gone. I've also used the Earthing patches to relieve the pain of a bum knee, back pain, headaches, sore throats, pain in my hands, and to prevent leg cramps. When I feel one coming on I quickly attach and Earthing patch to the muscle in question and the tendency to craming immediately stops. So here you have my overall evaluation of Earthing. I took away one star because of the inferior and expensive patches which I've finally replaced with HEATNCLICK's much superior patches. Check them out.The one thing they need to do is make their technologies more accessible through multiple outlets and improve the quality of their customer service.
