I am absolutely amazed at the difference the sleeves have made in my comfort and mobility. I have severe arthritis, multiple tears in both meniscus, synovitis, and frequent bleeding in the knee joints and surrounding tissues. Constant pain and swelling in both knees has kept me in a wheelchair for the last 6 years since I am not a candidate for surgery. Recently a brace fabricator tried to make custom braces but each product has been unsatisfactory. I was not hopeful that there would be any product that would help me. But I was wrong! When I first put the Athledic sleeves on, the compression was comforting and provided a sense of security. The ability to adjust the placement and tension of both straps provided superior support and customization. It took a few hours but the pain level was decreased in each knee by at least half of what it had been. After a couple of days of wearing the sleeves I couldn't believe how much the swelling had decreased. I have been able to stand and actually walk short distances. The sleeves prevented the hyperextension in one knee that has been a persistent problem. I now have hope and a reason to believe that the compression, support, and adjustibility of the sleeves will produce even greater results in my comfort and mobility. Every similar product in the past has slipped out of place, lost elasticiy, and failed to produce results. Just the opposite with the Athledic sleeves so far. I have no words to describe the difference the sleeves have made in my comfort and quality of life each day, and expect even greater results with time.

Received my brace and wore it for the first time for a 3 mile run. Before I get to that, I want to mention fit, quality and proper use (how to wear).I measured my leg, per the instructions provided on the order page. The instructions are clear and thankfully, the fit is perfect.The quality of the brace is top notch. It feels sturdy but not bulky. The seams are smooth and the Velcro is not in a spot that may cause a problem with rubbing.The instructions included for use are straightforward and concise. I even received a follow up email from the vendor with more detailed info and instructions.So, how did it feel and work? My knee pain is pretty severe if I don’t use anything to support it. I’ve been using and enjoying knee tape. But, as great as it works for me, it’s expensive and disposable. This sleeve really helped on my run! My knee didn’t hurt and it didn’t feel swollen or “heavy” afterwards.The sleeve didn’t move around and, for the most part, didn’t rub in the wrong way. I felt a little binding just behind my knee due to the straps but it’s probably because I never have anything behind my knee. I’m hopeful I’ll get used to it.Overall, I think this is going to be a great replacement for tape. I am concerned with longevity though but only time will tell. I’m training for a marathon so it’s going to get a lot of use. I’ll update this review as my runs get longer.I highly recommend this sleeve if you’re experiencing pain and want to remain active. I was really surprised at the comfort, not only of the sleeve but the lack of pain I experienced. I’m placing an order for another, for my other knee!

The brace came just in time after I twisted my knee and had a great deal of pain. I had planned a vacation that included hiking and kayaking and was concerned about the injury 2 weeks before my vacation.The good news is that the brace came quickly, 1 day before my vacation. Also, good news...I was pain free for 5 days and was able to hike up to 7 miles one day.In another review, I saw someone write to be careful about not attaching the velcro on the material. The directions also said to only adhere it to itself. I followed those directions but withing 3 days the material was getting little nubs on it. It served the purpose and worked well but I did report dissatisfaction with the nubs showing up.

I had a knee injury from playing football before, nothing serious, but once a while, my knee just bothers me after a hike sometimes.So I purchased this product.If you want something comfortable and stable, this is not going to please you. I had to constantly stop and adjust the straps during my hike. Quite annoying. And I don't feel any support from the brace.One nice thing about this brace is that you still have a range of motion so that you don't walk funny. But personally, I need something that actually provides support.

I’m actually using this sleeve every day. Last year I tore my ACL and MCL. I ordered a different type of knee sleeve after my ACL reconstruction last year. It was good for about a month until I stopped using it. It didn’t provide the compression in the right places (I didn’t realize until I used your knee sleeve). I had a SECOND surgery last Wednesday, to remove scar tissue and APPARENTLY, I tore my meniscus during recovery/rehab in the past year. WONDERFUL NEWS. Anyhow I needed a sleeve ASAP and started using your sleeve as SOON as I received it. The straps are super useful but I think after this week, I won’t need them anymore. I see why the extra support may be needed though but I’m trying to strengthen my quads and the straps are “babying them” they are great for surgery recovery though. I have quad atrophy so it assists in helping me walk as well, it’s also not TIGHT in the calf area but provides the right compression on the knee area but allows my joints to bend comfortably? (Hopefully I’m making sense) speaking from an injured mind, and someone who works with an orthopedist and physical therapist because my knee is EFFED up, this is a good sleeve so far. It’s only been a week but I’ve worn it every time out the house.I have physical therapy in two weeks so we’ll see how it goes during actual strengthening.
