Excellent Gaming and Work Mouse
I bought this a long, long time ago but decided to review it now as I'm still using it! The BenQ ZOWIE EC2 is an excellent gaming mouse, especially if you’re into e-sports or competitive gaming. The ergonomic design feels incredibly comfortable in the hand, even during long sessions. Another thing that is a huge plus is it doesn't seem to get hot under your grip, some mouses I've used get 'sweaty' or 'clammy' when using them for a long time and this one doesn't.The tracking is smooth and responsive. I love that it’s plug-and-play with no unnecessary software or bloat ware - it’s straightforward and focused purely on performance. The build quality feels solid, and the buttons have a nice, tactile click.If I had to nitpick, there are only two extra buttons on the left hand side, meaning you don't have much to play with in terms of config, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a no-nonsense, high-performance gaming mouse.

First review of a Mouse I've ever done but this deserves it.
This mouse is perfect not much else I need to say.Weight: 90g (no way too light)Size: Medium perfect fit for people that play fingertip grip and clawColour: CSGO so its a must have for people that play csDPI/Polling rate change: Yes (Underneath the mouse there is 1 button that changes the levels of dpi (Uses coloured LEDs), and 1 button that changes the polling rate(HZ) of the mouse.Sensor: PMW3360 (the latest mouse sensor out)Clicks: Clean and not too sensitive compared to the G403 which is very sensitive.Scroll wheel: Meh, at first then the more you use it the better it feels and sounds.On first use I noticed the size was the most comfortable and was the most important noticeable change that made this far more superior than any mouse I have previously used I have previously used a Razer Mamba Chroma and a Logitech G403 both are great mice and have never failed on me. But, with the razer mouse there is annoying software that needs to be installed in order for me to get full use of my 90pounds mouse, the logitech doesnt need any software to get full use from but the size of it is rather odd. The back of the G403 is very hunched and is more for palm grip players in my opinion which just isnt my grip style i do like the weight of the mouse and the fact it allows for a 10g weight reduction with the simple use of a small weight. And the mouse clicks are alittle too sensitive and that makes it frustrating when in a clutch situation i go to make a quick move of my mouse and i accidentally miss click.This mouse is perfect for fps games if you are someone that takes fps games very serious i recommend getting a benq zowie mouse as no other mouse will cut it, there will be an issue with every mouse that you wont like with this zowie mouse i am yet to be disappointed with it.The mamba one i used for 3 years it was the first gaming mouse i ever had. The logitech one i have used for about a month and am still not fully used to it. The shape is weird and i always miss click because of the sensitive switches. And the benq came today i have used it all day and have never played better in my entire life. I was 100% consistent today i averaged 24.5 kills every game today and played about 8 games. It is the best mouse I have ever used and will never get a new mouse because i have finally found the one.

Expensive for what it is, but best shape on the market.
This is one of the best gaming mice out there, period. The EC1/2 shape is easily the most comfortable on the market, with only the old Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 being better. The EC1 build quality is less than other similarly priced competitors however with mushy side buttons and loud 16 step scrolls instead of the usual 24, and the mouse is expensive for what it is. Also note that the "low" LOD setting is much lower than other 3360 based mice, and can cause it to spin out occasionally on some mousepads/surfaces so if you run into this issue use at least the medium LOD setting. The low setting works fine on my black QCK Heavy though. Big points to for both the level of control (DPI, polling rate and LOD control!) and giving that control to us without needing drivers. No Razer-Synapse-esque bloatware and issues to be had!More tactile and firm side buttons like the Clutch G2, G502, Kone EMP and Deathadder (among many others) and a better scroll wheel (please use one similar to Roccat's Kone line, they are the best scrolls around) and this would actually be worth RRP. As it is, it should really be priced at £40-50 given the current market. The reason Zowie can price it as they do is that simply perfect ergo shape of the EC1/2 paired with the top optical sensors around.

Logitech g400s->Logitech g403->Zowie EC1-A->Zowie FK1->Zowie EC2-B The EC2-B has a great shape and because of it's small size you almost ...
edit: Changed to 5 stars, coil whine fixed in newer batches of ec2-bOver the last few years I've used these mice, in this order : Logitech g400s->Logitech g403->Zowie EC1-A->Zowie FK1->Zowie EC2-BThe EC2-B has a great shape and because of it's small size you almost forget you are holding a mouse - the hand and the mouse become one if that makes sense, and the sensor performs well.While I would rather use the EC1-A when I am playing games where precise mouse movement is not important, the EC2-B is the best mice I have ever used in FPS games like CounterstrikeHowever these mice are affected by A HORRIFIC COIL WHINE ( constant high pitch buzzing, changes between 3 pitches) which makes the mouse unusable! I'm sure there are people who have received mice which are fine, but if you take a few minutes to google you will see that this virus plagues thousands of mice zowie mice using the new 3360 sensor!AVOID until this is acknowledged and fixed, and if it already has, good job Zowie
