My wife purchased the Samsung 49" Odyssey Neo G9 Mini-LED Curved Gaming Monitor for me for Christmas, and while the display itself is impressive, I found the included stand to be quite bulky, consuming a significant portion of my desk's real estate. With a 60-inch by 30-inch desk, accommodating both my work essentials and the monitor became a challenge.Initially, I opted for a different single-arm swivel mount, but it disappointingly struggled to support the weight of the monitor, constantly leaning down despite its claims. After returning it, I decided to give the Vivo adapter a try.Installing the Vivo adapter was simple (more so than the monitor arm), and it seamlessly integrated with the monitor's existing arm. I've been using it for over two months now without encountering a single issue. Not only did it reclaim valuable desk space, but it also came at a lower cost compared to the alternative arm I initially considered.For anyone seeking a reliable solution to maximize desk space without compromising on stability, I wholeheartedly recommend the Vivo adapter. It's been a game-changer for my setup, and I couldn't be happier.I am a real person writing this review. Not one of those fake reviews generated by a bot. 49" Samsung Ultrawide on electric sit/stand desk. I went through several options for arms. All of them sucked. Sagged, wobbled, could never get them to stay in position, etc. They were all expensive and just weren't rated for the size and weight of the 49". Now don't get me wrong, it's too much monitor for any stand really - even sags on the stock stand (I had to lock mine at the top with a set screw). Monitor just vibrates and wiggles no matter what. Even when I had it wall mounted directly it just wasn't stable. Honestly wish I had bought a slightly smaller Ultrawide monitor but I got this from auction so there's no returns. Those giant feet take up my entire desk surface and don't keep it steady anyway so I had to find something.Then I stumbled across this adapter and wow - it's just such a sleek solution for a fraction of the cost of anything else. I definitely recommend a stabilizing plate to distribute the weight across the desk. It would lean a little on me before I put one in. I do wish it had some kind of cable management as well. Of course the monitor still wobbles all the time but that's not a fault of this product. I'm going through prototypes 3D printing "kickstands" for the outer corners to help stabilize the monitor more. This is designed to get rid of the feet and it does that better than anything else I found. I wish there was a drill through option for better stability. I modified mine with parts from another arm I had that uses a double clamp on the bottom for a tighter fit along with the metal plates to distribute the weight.

Didn't work for it's intended purpose but not the part's fault it was user error. Quality part, heavy duty and cheap I like next time..

This "Desk Clamp Adapter" is definitely sturdy and all the parts have some weight to it and are all made out of metal. All this does is replace the overly-long legs on your Samsung Odyssey monitor while preserving the tilt and swivel capabilities of the monitor.I bought this only because Samsung likes to make weird monitors that need VESA adapters and I threw mine away and I don't feel like dropping $100 on a replacement, so I settled for this.The instructions are extremely easy to follow and assembly only took me about 5 minutes.

Only thing the three screws were over tightened and slightly stripped. So it took some muscle to unscrew them. I will have to go to the hardware store and replace them now. Everything else is perfect. Got it for the Samsung Odyssey G6 and it fit perfectly. Gained so much desk space. Looks clean and sleek. Just feel like maybe got a returned item due to the condition of the screws.

Overall, this thing changed my desk setup so much for the better. It let me have more usable space, looked sleeker, and just simplified my space. I have one (minor) gripe with it, which is that I don't think the angle is quite steep enough. I am sure it's made to the specs of the original mounting angle, but the monitor arm is so tilted forward that it blocks a bunch of the desk. My solution to this was to add some wood shims on the top and bottom of the clamp to change the angle so that it stands a bit straighter. This adds more space to my desk and allows the screen to be closer to my eye level. I am overall very happy with this.

I was a bit skeptical placing a ridiculously expensive Odyssey G9 atop of a budget friendly mount, but this mount is legit. It is heavy duty, and arguably sturdier than the stand that came with the monitor. It clears up a massive amount of desk space. I would highly recommend a 2 person installation, and would suggested soaking the screws with a penetrating lubricant. The screws provided were over tightened from manufacturer, and can easily be stripped. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed.

This type of clamp is a lifesaver for those who do not want to buy a full motion clamp but they do not want to use the very wide space consuming legs these monitors come with.I do not need to stay tilting the monitors or move them around wanted something sturdy, which the stand out of the box is amazing, but did not want to use the legs from the monitor as they take half the desk.This attachment is perfect.
