Replaced the forks on my bike, went this bearing solution. Old forks did not have sealed bearings like this kit. Super simple installation, 15 minutes. Do yourself the favor when you order this. Also purchase the tool to sink the star nut. You will likely use the star nut not the compression fitting. Once installed and tightened zero play in the head. Easy assembly with my new forks and existing neck and bars. Inexpensive and quality solution. Looks great. Silky smooth bearing action.

It is as described and easy to install, used these to upgrade from open ball type of bearings.

After trying to use replacement ball bearings similar to what came with the bike, the forks didn’t sit correctly. I was getting super frustrated and kept removing everything and trying all over again thinking I was missing parts. I finally bought these bearings which are sealed. After I installed everything that came in the package, it fit like a glove. There was no more play in the bottom near the crown race. Just buy them, you won’t regret it. This would have saved me hours of adjustment and heartache.

This sealed bearing set is much better than the original one. It is very easy to install with the proper tools and also to adjust the end play. I always replace the origibal bearings with sealed ones to forget about maintenance.

The red headset is more of an orange color than it is red. Nice headset with quality fitment and smooth operation. The expander plug works great, just be aware that you may need an extra spacer to adjust neck height for proper cap clearance. While not a deal breaker for me, the color is something to be aware of if your looking for a perfect color scheme, great headset otherwise.

This is a great upgrade for your bike! Easy to install, cleaner, looks good and performs even better. I have currently put on about 500 miles since installation and the performance is awesome. Tight smooth steering. Highly recommend.
