Its seaweed derivatives and tastes like ocean fish somewhat. Daughter gave me a small bottle and I sprinkle it on grits and specialty omelette/ cheese, with nutribulleted or ninjad mix of tomatoes, garlic, steamed okra, toast, whatever, then jalapeño cornbread, and well soaked and cooked soft brown rice.Hearty breakfast and room for Nori too.I put it in chili, on pinto beans and rice and cheese.I bought the 17 ounce pack and I am expecting it to go awhile from the size relative to what you use.Obviously you can see I like it and the nutritional value is reviewed as excellent.

Taste is great, and really adds a little something extra to spam musubi. Good amount of product for the price, and will last a while.

Gambled on a lot of something I have never tasted (this brand) and I love it. My favorite is on avocado and toast. Kids like it with rice.

Like this stuff alot. In addition to using it on rice dishes, I'm having fun finding other things to add it too, like on top of grilled salmon. I also like cutting a hard boled egg in half and sprinkling this on top, adds a whole new dimension to just a plain hard boiled egg! It's a keeper in the cupboard!

I really enjoy putting this seasoning on baked or broiled fish and cottage cheese. Gives a good flavor.Quality seems good and also good value for the money.

Really wanted to like it but didn’t realize it has a significant amount of msg as an ingredient. Has good crunch. Flavor is well balanced between the seaweed/umami, the nutty sesame, and sweet/salty. Would buy again in a pinch but I prefer no msg in my foods.
