superb kit
bought this 1/200 bismarck kit at £222 which is a fantanstic price, the kit itself is superbly detailed and very large, should be a chanlaging but fun build, delivered within delivery slot and arrived in perfect condition, absolute bargin.

Massive kit. I have hasd it a month and only just completed the main see through turret, 2x Arado aircraft and a couple of rowing boats. Still trying to work out hwere to start as the instructions dont lead themselves to a step by step build if you want to paint it and add extra details. Some photo etched parts come with it but I am told there is a myriad of others you can buy which will enhance it no end. Look around for the right price, Amazon come up trumps but dont discount other suppiers as they may supply the kit with extras. This is not a 10 minute project though, I am estimating many many weeks to get to the right build status but a brilliant kit nonethe less...Awesome.

I bout this for my 15 year old son and he is really into modelling and been doing it for a few years, and I was abit reluctant to but this for him but I am happy I did. It arrived well before it was said to by 5 days. The price is quite nice aswell but the quality of the parts is amazing and it should keep him busy for sometime.

instructions
the instruction pamphlet is not as good as expected given the size of the model, certainly a kit for a more experienced modeller, the Trumpeter 1/16 scale King Tiger has a far more detailed book

Detailed kit with many sheets of photo etch. Trumpeter paint guide not correct as usual. Bought when Amazon lowered the price. Bargain.

Really unimpressed It needs a Upgrade kit at 300.00 which makes it very expensive
A nice kit well boxed but it hides how few parts there areIt needs an Upgrade Kit to make it worth Building making it 550.00 poundsThree week delivery from Europe 7 weeks from ChinaThis should be part of the information on Amazont can be built without the Upgrade kit but would be very plasticy

so all in all this is brilliant.. pity theres no stand with this model
this battleship of the Bismarck 1:200 scale is what ive allways wanted to do as a model kit ..ive done smaller scale ones of this but find some of the pieces a little bit to small ......so all in all this is brilliant .. pity theres no stand with this model ..but that's no problem to make one I suppose .five stars I give this
