This microscope works very well, producing still images that are clear, detailed and with good depth of field. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that the sd card is difficult to insert so that it engages the retainer.

It works better than expected and the photos are great nd being able to get them on the large screen is great and very helpfull.

Coin guy here - This was an upgrade from my other similar set-up. I'm getting much better quality results for not that much more cost. I always use my lamp and handheld light to get crisp photos, and do not rely on the lights that come with these scope cameras. Correct lighting will get you the best results, bad lighting will make you think the scope is not performing as it should. The default settings seem to be the best settings, but I am still exploring them. I like the extra wide base and 10" pole for the bigger coins. The screen is as advertised, nice and clear. This unit performs as advertised, produces really nice results. The only two minor things I would pick would be - 1. the sd card slot is in a tricky spot because of the pole (unless you have the camera at the top of the pole) 2. the cord for power and usb cord for the base light are really short. - I would not have a problem recommending this scope for the price and performance. **Also, my sd card arrived already in the sd slot, be sure when you take it out for the first time that you make sure to remember which way it goes back in. Mine had the gold prong side that was up** Hope this helps!

This has a very good camera mounted on a stand making it very easy to zoom in on small objects to get a clear view. Has an 8” screen for viewing the items you want to zoom in on. Very easy to use and can also take pictures you can save.

The only type of gold I have been able to find so far is visible using this microscope! It has an outstanding picture on the 4k screen. I am really picky about blurry pictures and this does not disappoint. It has great clarity at all zoom levels. This got me really excited about the world of microscopes again, definitely recommend for any level of enthusiast who wants to take a closer look at their projects. This would be very helpful for hobby building, soldering, repairing circuits, RC car parts, really anything that you need a closer look at.

The quality of the unit is good and the resolution is more than acceptable. But there are some problems. The micro sd card is difficult to insert and removing it equally difficult resulting in it falling into the sample. Setting the date and time is a daily task. So far it does not change from day to day. Pictures do not log in a sequence that makes any sense if you are using this for any documentation.

I'm not the type of person who likes to write reviews, but I had to do it with this microscope because I know that just like me there are many people who are looking for a good microscope to be able to see their coins. And I can tell you that this is by far the best microscope I have ever owned. So that is why I recommend that you look at the images that I have uploaded so that you can understand what I am talking about.I have bought between five or six microscopes and I can tell you that this is so far the best of all, both for viewing the images and for taking photos.I really like the settings it has because you can adjust the image to your liking, you can adjust the screen to make it look clearer, and you can also adjust the image to make it lighter or darker, or to black and white, you can also adjust the sharpness.Another thing that i can add to this review is that, unfortunately the control came with some issue, so i contact them by email and they send me a new one, they say that it will take around two weeks for me to receive, and yes i receive in two weeks as they said. Im very very very happy with this microscope and how they handle the issue of the control.So if you are a coin collector and you are looking for a great microscope, I highly recommend you buy this one.

This was delivered on November 26th 2024 as an early Christmas present from my husband. I was so happy with it when I received it. I use it every single day, except the days that I work and I work about four days a week. It had great color really good magnification. I loved it and then I turned it off last night came up this morning to use it and the power will not come on. The light will come on and stay green for a second but it’s real light green and then it turns to red. I’ve tried everything to get it to turn on. It will not come on. I am very very disappointed. I truly expected that this microscope would last at least a year. They just don’t make things like they used to. I will not purchase this brand again.
