I was looking for small lamp bases to put my own shades on to. Small are hard to find. These seem very good quality and a perfect size for my gem of a find charity shop shades. Only negative thing I will say, is that I didn’t have a clue how to put the overseas plug into the English three pin plug included in the box. Instructions would have been useful. So I rang Birco direct. They talked me through how to do it on the phone. When I had rung off and tried to fit the second one, the screw in the English plug wouldn’t work so I rang back. They are posting me a replacement plug this afternoon. They are a small family run business and their customer support is outstanding. Delighted with my purchases - they look so pretty both when switched on and off. I bought amber coloured bulbs which give a beautiful warmth and glow. Not the cheapest buy but generally you get what you pay for. Very happy.

Lovely quality. Sadly one lamp was sent with a European plug attachment. Rather than have to return the item (which I needed) I bought an adapter.

We had to return this product because it had a faulty switch which flashed on and off. Also no fitted 13 amp plug but provided an adapter which very difficult to use. For the price of £23 each you would at least expect a fitted plug, a light bulb and a switch which worked. Pity really because it looked very nice‼️
