When I adopted Smidgen back in 2010, I immediately included Stella and Chewy's Dinner Nuggets in her diet. Animals in nature do not cook their food, and Dr. Pottenger's cat studies proved the importance of raw feeding. My little friend prefers to eat it crumbled and dry, and then drinks from her water bowl, versus mixing with water in the bowl. Her favorite flavors have changed over the years and currently she loves Bountiful Beef. I can't argue since she is very healthy at age 15. In fact, she has the appetite of a teenage boy. My previous cat lived to age 20 and she also enjoyed Stella and Chewy's morsels for many years. I consider it a great value because I have no vet bills because she remains healthy year after year. Happy cat, happy life.

I finally figured out that Georgie is allergic to chicken (not like a VET could have suggested that might be her problem!), so I bought a bag of this to tide me over till I could make some food with only ruminant meat.All my cats love Stella and Chewy's Bountiful Beef and digest it well. And while it is expensive, it is biologically appropriate with all the organ meats included as well as vitamins and minerals. There are no gross seed oils, legumes, rice, etc, or chemicals. This is the only commercial food I buy now, and use as a treat and as a supplement to their homemade food.

Excellent. Both cats love it. Just remember that you need to crumble the pieces and add water to moisture the meal. No mess no smell perfect.

My cats love the beef flavor!!!! My cats also love the chicken but the turkey, not so much. I haven’t bought the other flavors yet. I wish this wasn’t so pricey as my cats love it. I do hydrate it but it took about 3 minutes to make sure it had soak the water like a sponge as I wanted my 5 cats to get all the liquids they need as they are on an all wet food diet. It’s also great crushing it with my hand and sprinkling it on top or mixing it on their wet food. One of my cats even drinks the leftover “broth” that it creates after they are all the soaked up the pieces. When I give them the pieces, I find that it’s easier for them to eat it when you cut it in half with a fork. I included a photo comparing its size to the treats. Once moistened, it doesn’t change in size but it does get softer. It’s easier to cut it in half when it’s a bit dampened by the water. I will get more but only with a discount as this is very pricey. I wished I bought more when it was on a discount but I don’t know how much they would like it. I also store it in plastic containers as my cats can smell it from the original bags that it comes in and they try to bite the bag to get through the food.

my cats LOVE these, you can feed them as a small meal (just make sure to mix them with water),snack, or just as toppers.

My cats love these. It's more of a treat though because it's costly for a large cat family.

I can only give it 3 stars. Only 1 of my 3 cats will eat it. It smells "Gamey" and strong. My cat Henry can't get past the smell. Shiloh will eat 1 piece... Just 1 each time. And he will eat out of the garbage can, he eats anything.So you might want to find a way to dial back the gaminess.

The food is great and works well for our cats. They seem to really enjoy it and it's perfect for use in our automatic wet feeders.The only issue we have - the cats love the rabbit and the chicken - can't feed them enough of it - but they immediately turned up their noses at the beef.Fortunately, the beef was on sale, but it's a 1lb bag that's going to waste. So make sure your pets are truly not picky eaters before purchasing the beef.
