Nice guitar for the money
This is a nice guitar if you are looking for an economical guitar to practice on. The fret board is a bit thinner than most acoustic guitars and sounds great through an amp. If you are looking for mostly acoustic playing I would advise you buy an acoustic since you dont get the volume you would normally get.

My headline
Had the bridge shaved to lower strings, put on a set of Martin strings..... sounds great with or without amp. Not the easiest guitar to play though, replacing it with Epiphone Hummingbird.

45 years later: I can play the guitar!
I am a woodwind player and have tried to teach myself guitar many times over the years, but quickly gave up because of sore fingers and shoulders. I bought the Ovation Celebrity guitar 2 months ago, and, for the price, it has a very nice sound. It also has soft strings and is comfortable and easy to play. I am progressing and have tons to learn, and am enjoying playing this guitar daily.

Always loved the ovation for the price and wonderful sound. Easy to to play. Seller, had ovation in a thin single box with no protective padding. And, seller shipped through usps. Received with box damaged, collapse, holes in the box, etc. seller should have been more responsible
