A drawing class I was taking required a 13mm soft willow charcoal stick, and though this item is 9mm, the thickest I could find at a reasonable price, it worked just fine for my purposes. The price was reasonable. It arrived quickly, well packaged and all the sticks were whole.

I bought this recently for an art class didn’t know how to use it but my little sister did so you’ll have to sharpen like a pencil, it’s good she has used it well I think it’s super black so if you know how to use it buy it, I’ll share a photo of a drawing she did

These vine charcoal sticks provide a super even coverage for artists looking to get into drawing. The charcoal is a good color and the size makes it easy to hold. They also come with so many, which is amazing since it is so cheap. The charcoal will get on your hands though, so be careful.

This is great for a new artist or artist want to be. The price is spot on for what you get. And the quality of the product is very good. They last a long time! I would recommend them.

I sometimes get the itch to use the willow charcoal and let loose. This is not for fine detail but id you have done it, or seen it done, it will yeild anazing results. It's not top end charcoal but for practice or playing around, it does a great job!

Learning to sketch and these were the perfect choice. Need to wash hands after use, but that is the joy of art! Gotta get messy to create!

These work great and I like how I’m able to blend them out easily. My only problem is that I’m supposed to receive 25 sticks of charcoal but only got 24.
