I found this very easy to program. You have to do the on/off button, each volume button and the mute button. Place your original TV remote top end to top end with this replacement remote, very close. Press the TV button and which ever button you are programming as named above, ex: volume up. Press TV and volume up at the same time until the red lights blink, then let go and immediately press the volume up button on your TV's remote. The red lights will blink 3 times and that button now works your TV volume up. Repeat for the other buttons accordingly. Test to make sure the programming was successful. It says there are 10 programmable buttons, but look at the top section of the replacement remote and try to find the other 6. There is a replay looking button, but that makes no sense for this. There is no programming for your Roku box, just for your TV. I think it works great. There is no voice on this.

A factory replacement for these is $70 give or take. This one is a worthy replacement. Make sure you go for the bluetooth model. Only issue which has been noted is the need to 'wake' the remote. It's annoying but that's what you get when you try to put your old remote through the laundry....

I got the first remote the pointer didn't work no problem they sent me a new one and it works great
