quality good
This is 3rd slicker i have had. Slickers are great for long thick coated dogs. It gets right into them. This particular one i cant use too often due to the style. The end spikes curl over. I am struggling with it as it is difficult to get through the fur and dogs don't like it as much. As i get used to it i hope the dogs will adjust.Very good quality item i couldn't fault but i prefer the straight prongs.

Cat is big fan.
When I bought this everyone told me it was too sharp and would hurt my kitten. She disagreed. She loves her brush, will hop up on the table so she can get brushed, sometimes looks forlornly at me if I haven't brushed her enough, purrs while being brushed and generally enjoys the whole process of being brushed, so therefore a success.

Great brush, buy elsewhere cheaper.
Great little brush that our cats love being used on them.Good size, nice handle for grip and a nice curve on the head to make it easy to get into places under the chin and chest. My only complaint is the price, I good the exact same brush for £5 at pets at home and would have bought it there rather than the £7.50 I paid on amazon. Oh well.. We live and learn.

Amazing for grooming cat fur
This product was really efficient at removing any excess fur from my cat. One downside to this product is the handle which seems quite small and not as ergonomic as expected. However, this will most likely vary from person to person based on hand size. The bristles were really sturdy and efficient unlike other brushes I have used. The price was not too bad considering the quality you get with this brush. Overall, this brush is one of the best I have owned so far and does exactly what is said on the packet for a good price.

Too sharp for our cats
Although it would've been good for the price, We thought we'd found a good brush for our cats but we were not happy with how sharp the brushes were, worried they might hurt our cats, so we sent it back.

Broke After Fourth Time of Use
The handle is fine, the brush head is fine, but the two are not attached to each other properly. When you get it you think the joint must be more substantial than it looks. It's not The handle and the brush head separated after the fourth time of use, and my dog doesn't have a particularly tough coat (a Siberian Husky). The plastic joint is a simple flimsy clip-together assembly which is not fit for purpose. I'll try superglue, but I really shouldn't have to do this!Beware - this brush offers no advantage over cheaper alternatives with simple (and much stronger) wooden handles.

Great for my BSH kittens
Bought this for my British Shorthair Kittens and it does a great job. They don’t mind being brushed with it at all, and their coats are definitely softer and smoother as a result. Great little brush.

The cat’s whiskers
Our cat is a bag of nerves. He always has matted fur in the summer because he lies in fresh new grass and the seed sticks to his fur. There was nothing, other than a groomer, who could go near him. I have been training him up, slowly with this brush and slowly, slowly he is allowing me to brush him. By the summer I hope I will be able to comb him with ease.
