this thing is fabulous! I bought to toss over an antique mission oak rocking chair as the ancient leather seat is split and i don't want to get it reupholstered. this sheepskin is soooo soft, i love sinking into it. so does my cat, and she sits in the chair more than me. The color I purchased is really nice too.

The quality of this TRUE sheep skin is outstanding. The hide, as with any tanned animal skin, will have some light faint tanning and cleaning oder at first but dissipates after awhile; it's real leather not plastic fake fur.I have mine in my medical recliner and is wonderful because natural wool is temperature self regulating to your skin, keeps you cool & warm naturally. I sleep in this recliner too at times due to medical reasons. Super comfortable once you get used to laying/sitting on fur - you won't go back, it's not like upholstery fabric or vinyl.Just read and follow the included use and care instructions that are included, including contacting LLB with any help you might need.I love this one and will buy another from LLB if this one ever wears out.Over time it will look a little matted (not all fluffy). Just get you a sheep skin rug brush (Amazon plastic $10) and gently lightly brush the top layer of wool and go slowly not to pull out the hair. In a few minutes it will be looking brand new again. Treat it just like you treat your own hair when brushing it. If you are pulling out fur you're brushing too hard, same as your head. Mine does not shed at all.This is a true quality sheep skin thru and thru by a quality producing company.By the way, sheep are not big animals like a cow, so the 2'x6' is actually two sheep skins sewn together at the butt ends. A 2'x3' sheepskin in one sheep, that's how big a sheep is. The small pointed end is from the neck, the next wide spot is the front shoulder area, belly area and the last wide spot is the hind leg area. Now you also know a little about how your sheep skin gets it's shape.And no, I didn't get a free one for my HONEST review, I paid full price for mine just like anybody else.

I would give this 10 stars. I am super picky with sheepskin and have bought some that "claimed" to be real. This one is amazing - price point for the 2x6 is awesome. The packaging, the representation, the quality of the product, and the beauty of this rug is above expectation. There are clear cleaning instructions and how to care for this rug. I am very impressed with this product. And, no one paid for this review and it was not a part of any promotion.

An excellent, plush sheepskin. Really too good to be a rug so I use it as a throw and sometimes put it on my mattress and sleep on it. Bonus: The cat is leery of it and steers well clear. Your results may vary.

I love this rug it is so beautiful.. only thing i don’t know how to take care of it.. I read every one reviews but no one said anything about it. Never had a smell on mine…get ready to purchase another one.. my puppy pee on my an I was so upset.😩

Delivery was quick, product was beautiful but caused allergic reaction, I had to get rid of it.

So soft - very luxurious to the touch. Some reviews said there was a smell but mine has no smell… it’s perfect.
