Love this product. I will be using this regularly because the results were that good. In between permanent dye for my grey hairs. This product gave my dry thin damaged hair relief and deep hydration in 90 minutes.As mentioned, I kept the dye on for 90 minutes. It was easier to put on than normal hair dye. No mixing or pouring into tiny bottles. It's thick and creamy in texture. No drips, nor strong smell of chemicals. Hardly any scent at all. No irritation on my scalp after 90 minutes either. The dye dries into a thick past which sticks to your hair. I had to rinse my hair well to get all the excess dye out. It sort of reminds me of henna paste. Then I used my usual conditioner. While rinsing out the conditioner I immediately noticed my hair felt silky smooth. The kind of silky smoothness you get after a hair mask session. Once my hair dried I could finally see the lovely intense brown shade with cherry highlights. I loved the colour. Wow, I did this by myself at home in two hours. I was already so happy with the colour then I realised that my hair looked and felt so much healthier. It was glossy and so soft. I didn't have to use loads of products to tame the frizz and split ends. My split ends ends disappeared. My hair felt nourished. I let my hair dry naturally on this occasion because it's summer and very warm.The dye also did a pretty good job covering my grey roots. I washed my hair twice since I first used the dye. It still looks pretty good.I will be using this product between permanent dye sessions. I will probably not use permanent dye as often as before because it really does stress and damage my locks. whilst this dye does the opposite. It heals my hair!Great value item.

Turned my hair a ginger color. Not happy at all

This is supposed to be gentler as it doesn’t have peroxide or ammonia. I wanted to try on my grey roots in between permanent dye. The dye stains very easily so use with care. I squeezed out into a mixing bowl and used a brush to apply. I eft on for over an hour as recommended for grey hair and it definitely covered my roots vey well. Unfortunately ratger than a darkish brown the prominent colour is a dark red akin to the effect I get from using henna. Washing is very very messing and our transparent shower mat is still tinged red. Every time I wash my hair copious amounts of red dye is released. If I had got the colour intended I would still have been fine about that. I might try the darkest shade though to see what colour I get. It hasn’t damaged my hair and its a good price at less than £5.

not good at all hair dye , was very thick to put on plus did not come with gloves - luckily I have some anyway . Did not cover any grey hair and was a nightmare to rinse out so now I have buy my normal brand , gave it 2 stars though as it is natural

I recently ordered this Prestige Semi Permanent Hair Dye Dark Chestnut BC05 Becolor.This dye is free of ammonia and Peroxide, ideal if you're avoiding ammonia and peroxide or just want a temporary colour change. It covered my greys pretty well, especially when I left it on for over half an hour. I have dark brown hair, and while the greys turned a bit orangey, it still blended nicely. The application was easy, just wish if it comes with a disposable gloves.The big downside is how much it stains, so be careful during use! It also releases a lot of dye with every wash, which gets quite messy. Still, it hasn’t damaged my hair.

This product is perfect for people allergic to Ammonia and Peroxide and those that want a temporary change of colour. Great at covering greys. The colour results will depend on your starting colour and the frequency of application will be more frequent the lighter the hair. Washed out of materials such as towels, clothes, bed covers. Easy to apply, ease of use, good instructions. Love it!

This is really strange hair dye. Firstly, the instructions are useless. The box was very bashed up, no idea if that is pre shipping or not. The dye is very thick and didn’t spread well. The tone is very warm and has left my grey roots an orange colour. It luckily faded quickly but it’s the worst box of dye I’ve used.
