I have been battling with brown patch for 2.5 yrs. This year I started searching youtube for some different answers than "Scotts" latest poison! I hate putting out anything that is stated as harmful to humans, animals, and our environment. I guess I fell under the spell of - "with this product, I will conquer brown patch". That just won't happen. In my search I finally found a woman named Sherri, that says we can never stop using chemical poisons once started and that is what I found true in my yard. Youtube, just put in Brown Patch and you should see a woman kneeling with Microlife and Microgro products around her on a lawn (plants for all seasons). I just never considered what she said to be the truth. She said (paraphrase) that I was poisoning my soil and killing all of its defenses, so using poison becomes the defense, not a healthy plant immune system that fights off disease. That made so much sense, because Scott's said to use their product until it appeared BP was gone and then I could stop, but it was never really gone and I was destroying my soil.After seeing the video I went about trying to find a way to purchase this product. I live in Alabama and it was no where to be found in the nurseries. I found out it is just starting to come into it's own. I bought this container of 9 lb from Amazon, but I discovered I needed 2 lbs for every 100 sq ft. I finally found a wonderful company that sells it in 25 lb bags and also found out that Microgro is sold in a bag specifically for brown patch and that is what it is called. I first put down the granulars I purchased from Amazon top dressed it with black cow compost (thinly as the the youtube will explain) then 3 weeks after my Microgro Brown Patch came in, I put that down at 2 lbs per 100 sf and my brown patch that was rearing its ugly head for the summer is now gone and my yard is beautiful!!I could not be happier and neither could my yard, obviously!!

I'm a huge fan of MicroLife products and this one may be my favorite. My plants are healthier and happier when I sprinkle this on the top of the soil (or better, dig small holes to put deeper in the soil). For a bonus, add powdered seaweed or kelp to the soil as well.

Used it on zoysia grass and it worked great.

One of the few products that actually works like they say it does. Roots are growing like crazy. Never seen it like that. Also seems to have reduced the fungus pressure at least from the soil.

This product is a game changer for environmentally responsible gardening in the wet, humid South.
