There is so nucb
I'm relatively new when it comes to investing, and this book has revealed to me that there is so much in the world of investing that I don't know of yet. I was hesitant to get this book initially, since I'm already investing in ETFs and thought I'm all set and whether this book would really be worth it, but I'm so glad I listened to my inner voice and got it. This book provides a wealth of information for anyone interested in the stock market, whether it's through bond investing or anything else. I highly recommend it.

Poorly Edited, Very Thin Information for Investment Decisions
I want a good book on bond investing for a moderately experienced equity investor. This is not the book for a few reasons-1) It is poorly written / copy-edited. As a result, you end up looking up key terms in Investopedia. This can be good for active learning but defeats the purpose of the book! :-(2) It does not really provide much more information than a basic blog or the above website. I am not a robot but i just think it is so basic that it is not worth the paper it is written on. The very thin information - maybe 2-3 blog posts worth is expanded out with a strange triple summary format. I love chapter summaries, but one is enough!3) Ultimately it does not provide enough information to contrast the actual decisions a fixed income investor might make, IMHO. For example who should buy munis, who should buy EFTs and who should buy individual positions - what are the practical and comparative advantages of each.

Basic information that is readily available for free
Thought I would learn something new worth paying for. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

Simple Introduction to Bonds
This book is suitable for beginner to understand the basics of bonds. The book is simple to understand with introduction to different types of bonds and its risk level for different people with different risk profile. However, there was no mention of perpetual bonds which I would like to understand more on its risk.

Bond book
I am always looking for ways to diversify my investments and I found that the stock market is a very good direction, although there is a lot to learn. I was looking for a book about bonds, and this book "Bond Investing: The Ultimate Guide to Bond Investing in the Stock Market Using Treasury Bonds, Low-Risk ETFs and Optimized Trading Strategies to Safely Trade Stocks and Shares for a Regular Income" was very helpful. I liked the wide scope of the book explaining many angles of bonds investing. I also appreciated that it is divided for small and easy to learn and implement steps.

Needs Polishing
Bond Investing by Mike Hartley provides a thorough introduction to bonds, covering key concepts such as bond types, pricing, and investment strategies. The book does a good job explaining how bonds fit into a diversified portfolio, making it a solid resource for beginners. The author's personal insights add a relatable touch, helping readers understand real-world applications of bond investing. However, the book suffers from some noticeable copy-editing issues. There are multiple instances of repetitive phrasing, awkward sentence structures, and wordiness that make certain sections harder to read. Additionally, some explanations could be more concise, and the writing would benefit from a more polished, engaging style. While the content is valuable, the lack of proper editing detracts from the reading experience. It is characteristic of a book written by AI and not going through the editing process. In that sense, it is disappointing.

What a joke
This book tells you to hire a financial advisor to check if you chose a good bond. He tells you to do research before you buy. Not a whole lot more. Spend 15 minute on Investopedia and you'll get more than you get out of this book.

Excellent.
The freebies are a welcome addition to the book; props to the author for including that. The opening quote is great. This book is edited, well formatted, and easy to read. I appreciate the writer being blunt and giving clear definitions and key points. It makes this a good read and will help me if I need to backtrack in the future. I like that the author is honest about bonds being a risk, as with any other investment. This book includes factors that can affect bonds, such as inflation. This book is jam-packed with other information about bonds, and it is eye-opening. This is a good read, and I recommend it.
