Excellent quality
The RT27CVN channel lock is well made and finished properly. It sizes up and down positively and without slip, so If you're looking for decent quality at a fair price, don't hesitate to pick one up.

Almost as good as they used to be
These are good tools, just not quite as robust as they used to be. The thickness of the jaws and handles has been noticeably reduced compared to the exact same model purchased 6 years ago. These get used almost every single day I'm at work. My last pair survived 5 years of pretty heavy usage so I'm interested to see if the slimmer (slightly cheaper feeling) replacement will last as long.

Better than channel locks
Yea I said it. The little channel locks are too little for man's hand. These are thicker and still small enough to handle business. Union pipe fitter here

Solid pair, thin jaw teeth
Overall great product.But the teeth are too shallow for me. They don’t grab fittings as well as some other pliers. As a plumber these are a daily and I’d say for the money they’re worth it, but I still expect more from crescent
