I really like this lens! The form factor is perfect, it makes my camera pocketable and as small as a point and shoot. The build quality is great, metal, has some weight to it, and the focus ring turns smoothly. I don’t have any complaints about image quality like some other people. I think as long as you know how to shoot in manual (since there are no auto/electronic features in the lens), your images will be fine. Are they perfectly crisp? No, but I like the way they look for street/casual photography. The colors are good, no chromatic aberration. I’ve attached an unedited side by side example with my good prime lens. This lens is the bottom image. You can see that there’s less contrast, and when I crop way in, the sharpness of text is probably about the equivalent of 3-4 megapixels less. I use a micro 4/3 LUMIX GX85 body, and this lens looks great on it (that Fuji aesthetic we all want, right?)

Value for money:Honestly. It's not the sharpest most best lens in the world. But for travel with a lens you can pop on and off and still take good photos with, this is great.Only reason I have 4 and not 5 stars is because sometimes the lens can be a but finicky. Never in critical times, but still.

Hell of a lens for $60 US! Brings the fun right back into photography!Does it have $1000 image quality? Not at all. But it’s size, weight and price makes this lens a no brainer for anyone looking for a small walk around wide angle!Well done 7Artisans!

The lens is cheap, okay. So I didn't expect much.The lens makes violet corners, and yellow parts on top between the violet corners.Really impossible to correct this in post production.So I use it for black and white photography only.

Me encanta como quedan las fotos, definitivamente no una lente para estudio pero si para llevarlo contigo a todos lados y hacer buenas fotos, la lente deja el efecto de tener un filtro vintage con viñeta en las fotos, quedan con mucha onda.La uso con una sony A6400 y puedo meter a cámara con la lente en mis bolsillos o en una riñonera pequeña, ideal para llevar la cámara a todos lados.

Just what I wanted! My camera system is micro 4/3, so this lens functions as a 36 mm, which is not all that wide-angle. I generally use pro-level lenses, which are pretty conspicuous for street photography, so this "dumbs it down" to pretty nearly invisible, and the image quality is acceptable for that genre.

I really tried to like it. The concept is good: a pancake lens, compact, super lightweight, and well-built. But from an optical quality standpoint, it's very poor. The photos aren't sharp and the colors aren't vivid. I hope they'll improve this in a future version.

I just received and I wanted to add a tip:I have an X-E3 and I had to go into the menu and turn in “shoot without a lens” to get it to fire.I’ll post a longer review later.
