So happy!
We had a neighbors trampoline fly into our fence last year and broke two our our posts. I have been trying to figure out if there was a way to fix it without digging up and resetting concrete. I happened upon this little piece of awesome and my problem was solved. Very easy to install and worked perfectly to give my broken posts extra support. You can’t really see them unless you’re looking for them and they very sturdy.Great product, great solution that I thought I’d never find.

Supports leaning fence post
When I ordered and saw it was manufactured in china, i was expecting cheap thin gauge steel that would barely be enough, while hoping for quality thick steel. I can say I was happy to see the steel used was a good gauge steel for bracing the post. Alot of wind funnels down my side yard so I used both braces on the same post. One for the front and 1 on the rear of the 4x4. It's nice that everything you need to connect the braces together for example the wrench, hex tool and drill bit for making the holes are included in case you don't have the tools yourself. I used my own wrench for the bolts tho as the included one was what you'd expect from and included tool. I used a 5lb hand sledge and both braces went in the ground smoothly and easily. Everything lined up just right once they were in. I did have a buddy assist in holding the post vertical with a 4ft level while striking the braces in so their wouldn't be any movement with the brace or post. Connecting the top and bottom brace with the bolts took about 20 min and only about 10-15 to hammer in the ground and bolt to the post.Cons- I'd suggest bigger and longer lag bolts for anchoring the braces into the 4x4. The included drill bit was not the correct size for the bolts and made the holes to large. When attaching the lag bolts they just spun and didn't grip to the post. I ended up running to the hardware store and buying longer bolts which were able to anchor the brace into the posts. Without purchasing the bolts separately the braces wouldn't achor the post and would just be resting against the post and with any wind be slowly rocking them away from the post.Conclusion- for an extra $15, close to half the price of the braces themselves id still suggest the product. Im not using these as a long term solution but to only hold until spring when i can dig a new post hole and i belive they will last.

Works as advertised
Very easy to use and install. I used to stabilize a wobbly fence post that has some rotten wood at the bottom due to age. This has definitely saved me some time and $$ before having to actually replace the fence post. Works as advertised so can’t ask for much more than that.

Weak weld
These stakes snapped at the weld as soon as you hit anything hard in the ground. Cheap and fragile.
