K-19: The Widowmaker - Collector's Edition 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray [4K UHD]

Bought the 4K version as an upgrade to a film our family enjoys. Have read a Nat Geo article about many of these old boomers rusting away, highly contaminated, in harbor.

Mostly accurate historical movie that happens to be enjoyable to watch. Probably my second favorite "sub" movie next to the hunt for red october. Ford will always be best remembered for his role in star wars and raiders of the lost ark, but this movie and his performance I wish would be remembered. Outside of the movies mentioned, I'd probably include the Fugitive and Air Force one and this one as some of his other best movies.

Good acting and plot.

My UHD disc was defective. Cleaning the disc didn't help. The package was re-wrapped in non-factory shrink wrap so I suspect it was returned and resold as new. For shame.
