“Chill-2-D-2” is what I named it btw .This small powerhouse is currently cooling my entire 1,200sq ft house ( with the help of a little box fan). It’s using less energy than the house HVAC per day. Easy to set up even though it’s heavy but it does have wheels which once out of the box makes for easy placement. C2D2 has many sturdy options for venting that are included. Comes with a remote control so you don’t have to stand in front of the frost vortex it produces even when the fan is on low. I was hesitant to turn the fan up to high thinking that it would skidder backwards from the force but to my surprise it held its ground. The drain hose and vent duct are long enough to be used nearly anywhere. Easy to use functions on the control panel fan speed, automatic swing for the fin , dry mode. The temperature range is impressive as well. C2D2 even has washable filters that are easy to remove and reinstall. Money well spent.

I live in a fairly small 2 bedroom apartment. It gets morning sun then it's shaded all afternoon, but it still can get very hot when it's hot and humid. I thought about a window AC, but the ones I'd want are very big and heavy, and I have no place to store an AC during the winter.This stand alone AC has been excellent. It's easy to set up the vent - and I'd also recommend an AC vent hose wrap to insulate it from releasing heat into the room - and works better than I expected. No, it's not the same as whole-house AC, but no portable solution will do that.Our apartment is long and narrow and we have it at a rough midpoint and use fans to circulate the cold air. It's great and a lifesaver because I can't sleep when it's hot. It also hasn't been terrible for our electric bill. Using this and a fan or two vs. running half a dozen fans all day is roughly the same.I'm very happy with this purchase.

I love this thing. It brings my bedroom temperature down by 5 degrees in less than an hour set at 69. It's so comfortable and costs less than running my central ac. I'd buy another, but finances at this time are a bit tight. I believe it worth the investment.

This AC was so simple to setup that I hardly had to do anything. It does have some issues but the cooling power this thing has is top notch. The issues that I have had are minor and nothing worth mentioning except for the built in thermostat does not show the current room temperature. If your Amazon delivery person is a complete ass like mine and delivers your AC standing upside-down, you may have to jostle it a bit before it works properly but when it does get your blankets ready and be prepared for winter in July. If you want the AC to run continuously, press the strong man button on your remote otherwise the AC will run in auto without actually having to put it in auto.

This is a good unit. I am very pleased with it. It is a smaller size so it does not take up much of a footprint in my home, it is quiet and it cools nicely. Very pleased with this purchase!

I put this in an outside tent room that is covered on the top. It keeps this room very cool even in 90 degree weather. Love it.

We use this in between a total remodel of our AC system and it did not disappoint. It cooled our large house very nicely. The only con, is you have to have low windows. If your windows are higher, you'll have to set the unit on top of something in order to vent it out. The wheels made it easy to move. It wasn't very loud. It functioned very well for the size of the unit. It also would shut off once the room got to the desired temperature, which was a plus.
