One Way to Connect With Females [FIVE STARS]
I’m not the “Love Guru,” but I do know how to hook up with a female--particularly if that female is a type-N and you’re a BNC male. All you need is something like the XRDS -RF N Male to BNC Female Coax Adapter, for example. This is one of those products that doesn’t bear over-explanation or over-analysis. If you have a length of coax terminated with a BNC male and you need couple that to a panel-mounted N-type female on some instrumentation or an old radio, this is the kind of adapter you’ll need to make that happen. The bench-marks for these kinds of adapters are manufactured by brand-name companies like Amphenol. This is XRDS adapter is not an Amphenol-level product. But then again, it’s not priced like an Amphenol product, either. If your application truly requires silver and gold plating on sleeves and pins, those flourishes will cost you. If all you need is basic connectivity for your hobby lab instrumentation or your ham shack, then these adapters are likely to serve your purposes just fine.

Works well, no issues
This male to female connector is very well constructed and locks into my radio very well. It is very secure and easy to install. No issues at all so far. Just make sure you have the right connection before you purchase.

Good adapters
These N Male to BNC Female connectors appear to be well-made and feel solid. A test using a NanoVNA showed insertion loss was extremely low, well under 0.05 dB at 450 MHz (due to the differing adapters I needed to use I couldn't isolate just this one connector). I recommend these adapters.

Didn't work for me.
They looked okay but, I could not get them to work. They connected with the N female but when I tried to attach the BNC male, the female connector kept twisting in the N adapter socket. I tried to tighten the N side but, it kept slipping. There was no collar to grasp.I finally had to remove the adapter, hold the inner piece with needlnose pliers, twist on the BNC male and then re-attach the adapter to the N female. I had to reverse this entire process to disconnect. Since BNC connects with a twisting motion, this is a poorly designed adapter. I cannot recommend this product.
