I use some vintage speakers in my home theater and my center channel is pretty large and not light, about 32 lbs. I wouldn’t trust sheetrock to support much but I’m mounted to a plywood wall so the shelf arms work good for me. Very strong if you mount to wood, I cannot vouch for the anchor option with anything heavy though.

Don't use the included drywall anchors. It won't do the job. Get yourself some really nice 1/4" Drywall Butterfly Anchors if you do not have the luxury of hitting 2 studs. My center channel is only 14 inches across so it was impossible to get to the other stud. The drywall butterfly anchors that are 1/2 are holding as well as the stud with the speaker on the mount. Don't try the 3/16 the butterfly anchor will break once you put a load on the mount.

I used these to mount a small soundbar underneath a 77" tv. The overall look fits right in and made for a good fit for my situation. They are plenty sturdy, especially if you're able to mount to studs of course. The extension distance from the wall is sufficient and quite a bit further out than most other options. As far as installation goes you've got a tiny bit more effort to put in to make them level just by being a pair rather than one mount but it's a very small effort to make. One thing that would be nice is if the hardware for the installation included some black stickers or even simpler if the screws were painted black rather than the contrasting bright silver of the large enough to clearly see screws included. I just used a Sharpie to blot them until they were sufficiently blacked out but it'd have been nice to have the package be cohesive to begin with. No real complaints and if these fit your needs I would recommend them without reservation.

Good product

I installed this mount above my fireplace mantel to offset my upfiring soundbar from the the TV mounted above the fireplace. I did not want to place the sound bar on the mantel because the TV would block the sound path to the ceiling. With the 11.5 inch projection, the mount extended a little over 5 inches past the edge of the mantel, thus providing a clear sound path to the ceiliing. Other mounts available were much smaller and would not clear the mantel. The sticky pads held the soundbar in place adequately. Most soundbars have screw holes for attachment (mine had M4 screw holes), and you may want to locate the mounts directly below the screw holes and drill holes in the mount to attach the soundbar (if you think the sticky pads are not adequate). Very pleased with the product.

I got these to mount a soundbar under a television on my screened-in porch last year. They have held up well, are inexpensive, attractive, and were exactly what I needed. I'd buy them again.
