Eventually, they stop writing each other after the loss of August's mother and Ella's father. After years of study, August returns home to a letter from Fresne, asking the king to help solve a mystery of people losing their memories of loved ones.I'm not a huge Cinderella fan, but I won't lie when I said this book made me sob! It all came down to one line, "You shouldn't give up love to avoid loss."

I tend to be not much of a book reader since I stare at a computer all day but throughly enjoyed this! It was an easy read and made you fall in love with their story all over again! I can’t wait to read the other two books now!

Same thing happened in Prince of Song And Sea... gay characters. I love Disney but not this.
