I have not yet tried the solar charging (will update review after) but I like what I feel from its wind production and love the additional light. You can feel the air 7ft away and are able to hang it/angle it. Comes with a solar charger that can also power your devices. Will come in handy next hurricane we get. One thing you will need in Florida is a FAN!!! Generators are nice, but one may not always have access to fuel, especially if your town gets wiped out. This looks small, yes, but it really does the job. Obviously it’s not industrial strength, but it will cool you off just fine. Will review solar charging aspect soon.UPDATE: My power went out and so did my phone. Guess what powered it back on? This little solar panel! I’m amazed. It charged it 20% in 10 mins in direct sun. It even works in overcast, just not as fast. Very pleased. Ordering another just for the solar panel alone but to also have another fan.

This little fan is amazing! We live off grid in Arizona for some of the hottest parts of the year and this little fan has been one of THE BEST things for us. I bought 2. They charge fast and hold that charge most of the day. Definitely buy this baby cuz it's soo worth it !

this was for a friend living in his RV. he said this helped keep that air moving to lower the sweltering heat. add a wet sheet for the hottest days, like our ancestors did, and get a swamp cooler like effect to reduce chances of heat stroke. I am putting one in my bugout kit

I bought 2 fans for me and my boy scout son. Tenting can get hot and sticky with no breeze. They last all night on 3/4 power, not quite all night cranked on high. I always have charging pucks for backup. We can set them outside the tent in the morning to recharge and set to go again the next night. Which is perfect! (because boy scouts are suppose to rough it with no power). The wind output is awesome, not just a light breeze, it will leave your hair blowing in the wind strong. The only pain is, I wish the company gave something to store the solar panel safely. You will need to find something to keep them safe. They will blend in with the tent floor and can be accidentally stepped on. Oops!

Bought two different types of fans to use while camping. This one lasted all night and charged quickly while plugged in to my truck, the solar charger works but is slow at charging.

Bought 2, used 1 for 1/2 a day on half speed. Went to recharge it and a big nope, it wouldnt work. They sent another. The second one was used for 1/2 day on half speed also. It also will not recharge. No matter the plug used etc. And now I have 2 and I think they expect me to pay for return shipping.I will update later.

Love this fan, it is our go-to for power outages in the Summer and a great way to cool off after working in the garden!

I bought this for my chicken coop and It worked great the first 2-3 weeks and now the solar panel won’t charge anymore. So if you just need it for camping trip might be fine but didn’t last for me. Bummed
