Joywayus Brass Pipe Fitting Y-shaped 1/4" NPT Female x 1/4" NPT Female x 1/4" NPT Female Connector 3-way Fitting Coupler Adapter (Pack of 2)

These Jaywayus Y-shaped 1/4" pipe fittings are just what I needed to replace the failed drainage valve on my air compressor with a more robust and easier to use solution. I wanted to extend the new valve as well as the exit point for the condensate beyond the center of the compressor to make it MUCH easier to reach, and thus make it more likely to drain the water more often than I would with the old valve.In a couple of the photos I attached to this review the use of these fittings (in addition to others I needed) can be seen in a sub-assembly then the finished product mounted on my compressor (which is still on its side while I was working on it). I didn't need all three ports on the fittings, so I installed a threaded 1/4" plug in the unused port on both the fittings.These Y's are manufactured of cast brass with finely cut threads. There was absolutely no air leakage at any of the ports. These are very nice fittings.

I can confirm that this is a heavy duty hose splitter and it fits well. However, I ignorantly didn't factor in that the water would come out of both hoses at the same time (I know, stupid!) so I haven't been able to test this over the long term. I'll update the review if things go south after I find a couple of shut-off valves.

I installed this, and had a small gas leak at one of the joints. I tightened the pipe another half turn, and the Y cracked in half. Poor quality and craftsmanship.

When I ordered this, I intended on running two water hoses from one water spigot, and it does just that. It’s made well and is of a decent weight so I’m confident it will not break under normal use. What I failed to consider is that when the water is turned on, it flows freely out both sides, so make sure you have a hose nozzle with a shut-off attached to the other end of the hose. I ended up getting a different splitter that had shut-off/turn-on valves on each of the splits so I could chose to have water flow out of one, two, or neither split.

My apartment does not have any hose attachments on our buildings which prevents any of us maintaining a nice lawn and/or garden so I have had to improvise by getting attachments to the kitchen sink. This has been an issue when I need the water both inside as well as outside so this attachment will allow me to continue using my sink when needed while I also am watering my garden!

Pretty heavy. Attached to split my hose and haven't had any leaks. Has held up well outside all summer.
