Excellent, affordable price
100 Miles Later, Thoughts–I feel healthier, I look better, I've burned off some of my too-much-screentime pudge, I have finally grown a fat butt (in the good way).I started real slow, short bursts, going only until I started huffing/puffing. First time: level 1, 8 mph, made it 0.3 miles. [Yeah, I know, don't shame me.] I have physical disabilities: I cannot bike, run, swim, jump. This is the only repetitive-motion workout (machine) that does not cause me harm.Careful never to push myself: because if I got hurt using it, I know I would stop using it, for months. Slowly stepped myself up to faster/longer. By one month: level 1, 12 mph, nearly a mile. Now: level 2, 15 mph, 2 miles. [Hey, for someone who has been derelict for 12+ years... Don't judge me.] I use it at least twice a week, before I take a shower, having made it part of my routine. [Or if I am passing by and want to power through a quick mile, if I'm feeling like a fatty.]This elliptical has a shorter ‘gait’ than others, looks a little odd. Consider: power walking looks silly, yet it works well, which is why people do it: same concept. Shift your weight slightly and use completely different muscles. If getting tired: twist instead at your knees, thighs, hips, waist, shoulders: work more of yourself, differently. Push/pull with your arms instead to relieve some pressure from the legs. An all-around decent workout.I did not need the Bluetooth-enabled display. I care only about how far I get at what speed, and don't need my phone judging me. [Or any insurance companies buying/selling my exercise progress.] Should you care about such things, or if you require an external source judging you: spend the extra money to track your progress. The motion is smooth, but occasionally the back-end starts getting a little ‘grindy’ in tone, but that usually passes. I thought I was going to have to grease the gears, so to speak, when it started sounding worse for a few sessions, but that went away of a sudden one day and hasn't returned. The right handle clicks a bit if I grip the top-half, but again only intermittently. [A crack inside the handle, mayhap? Squeeze it just wrong and it can be heard.] Overall, this elliptical is not silent, but also not loud.Starting out from stagnancy is difficult/discouraging, but worth it, if you keep it up. Make it a part of your routine, do not push yourself too hard, and do not deviate (more than one skip-day here and not-often there). Run yourself a little less hard/long if you don't feel up to it, but do not quit. Quitters only grow fatter assess (in the bad way). For your health: here is a good, affordable, reliable choice.

Does what I need it to do ; and the "squeak" is fixable!
I needed something to do exercise at home and this fit my needs -- even if it was my "second choice" as my first (from a review site elsewhere) was sold out. I did read a lot of reviews on this and similar models. In this case the cost was perfect (sale price at the time), and while it didn,t have the features of another brand I felt I didn't need the water bottle holder or the ability to have a table/phone in front of me. And you know what? I don't miss not having them!Setup was slightly difficult -- but my spouse was the one who put it together. The hardest part was attaching the tensioning cable, and in the end we found we were just overthinking it and then it was easy.In the beginning it was as quiet as advertised. And then, yes you guessed it, the "squeak" started. It did get worse, and I wondered if it was something to do with needing oil on inner moving parts. And then one day the squeak was gone. Husband confessed he had tightened all the connections again because several had worked loose. It did come back after a bit, and we tightened connections again and it went away.I found that as I increased the tension level the amount of time to develop the squeak lessened. (I also found there was less side to side swaying movement in the height of my sessions as I increased up in tension). I'm currently as setting 4, and very happy at that level. I might work up to 5 or I might not. So far I am getting what I need at that level.I do recommend it. The only reason why I am giving a 4 over 5 is the issue of having to re-tighten connections more than I think should be happening. It might be the mere fact that this is not the level of equipment made for a commercial gym and so is less. Or maybe this one is just slightly worse than others. Not sure but it doesn't matter as I am pleased with it.

Too heavy to return for a missing part .
Missing parts. There was no nut to secure the handle to pedal. Another nut and bolt was too tight I could not attach pedal to base. Let’s see how cut timer support responds then I may change review.Great customer service. Got the parts and happy with item.

best machine ever for the price
package arrived and ive never seen so much protection for the inside of a package. it took us about an hour to set up, yes the tension wire was a pain but it was worth it! when its too cold outside or too hot, imma jump on this thing and have a GREAT workout. this machine is everything wrapped up, it works your legs of course, your arms but especially your core as its just as good as walking or better depending on which setting you put it on. i LOVE LOVE LOVE this eliptical and will enjoy it within the privacy of my own home, its fairly lightweight and has wheels so you can move it, it fits anywhere and is not bulky. best purchase this year for excercise! thank you SUNNY
