Belongs In your glove compartment
Been using it for over 2 years now and it's been a help in every camping situation I've thrown at it. Been able to charge cell phones and run appliances like a coffee pot. Worth your time

Perfect for powering a stereo in the car.
I have a smart car and there isn't much room for adding a great pair of speakers to listen to while your on the road or in traffic. So i got me some M-Audio 4.5 inch bluetooth speakers and powered them with dc to ac convertor and that did the charm. Speakers work great, connect to my phone and bonus I have extra usb power plugs to keep my phone charged all the time. If needing a AC plug in the car I do recommend this item to help you accomplish your goal

Works well, easy to use, gets warm
I bought this because I go primitive camping in the outback. I sometimes take a commercial airline flight to the region, then get a rental 4WD to go out there. Since I can't take a gas-powered stove on an airplane, I needed a different way to boil water for my backpacker meals. So I bought an electric immersion water heater (300W) and this inverter to power it from the rental car. It has worked well for this and I'm glad I have it. The inverter does get warm on the side when powering the heater, and when I remove the car plug after I'm finished, the center connector is very hot. I'm not sure I would want to use it this way indefinitely, but for the 10 minutes I need to heat water it does great.

Good Charger
So far so good. Needed a charger that charged my Mac Book Pro in my car. It does the job.

Doesn’t work AT ALL
This thing doesn’t even work. At all. Won’t power on or anything. Just tried it for the first time since purchasing it. I checked the fuses in the car and they are good so this thing is the problem.
