This is a fine loose tea from the "island of teas" - Ceylon, or Sri Lanka, where many of Europe's finest teas actually originate. This black tea is infused with maple notes, reminding us of frost on the ground, pumpkins and falling leaves: smell and flavor are remarkably good reminders of times past, making this a near-perfect fall beverage which perfectly compliments the autumn season. It brews up a lovely golden cup - good bit of caffeine in black teas - so definitely a little afternoon "perk me up" experience. The dried leaves are housed in foil, then in a lovely tin that deserves repurposing somehow after the last dried leaf is gone. This tea pairs very nicely with biscuits or light cookies - it's a slow indulgent treat for a sophisticated palate - designed to be sipped and savored as you drink in the season of summer's close.

Very nice package of tea in a classy, unique tin. Makes a great gift, but with the quality of tea itself you may want to keep it for yourself. Earthy with slightly sweat maple accents.

Sometimes (okay, a LOT of times) when you get "flavoured"/"infused" foods/drinks, you really only catch a hint of it. You really taste the maple in this. It doesn't seem like an afterthought. It's a sweet complement to the earthy bitterness of the black tea.We drank this with milk and honey, and it was delicious.The tea itself is in excellent condition. Aromatic, whole, and dry.

Taste and aroma of maple syrup in this rich Ceylon black tea. Reminds me of fall, but good year round with cookies or biscuits. Ingredients: loose leaf Ceylon black tea, safflower petals, and maple.

Really impressed with this tea. You can tell it's high quality, all the leaves were fresh with no broken pieces. The maple taste is fantastic and pairs well with the black tea base, nice sweet and earthy combination. The aroma it makes is delightful as well and makes for a wonderful morning tea.

The tin is absolutely beautiful and really holds promise to what is inside. When I open up the tin, I immediately am struck by the maple Syrup scent. The fragrance is amazing, but sometimes the teas will smell really good and then not taste like how they smell. That’s not the case with this. This is a black tea and it really does have the flavor of maple syrup to it. This is great for dipping cookies in and adding a little bit of milk into this. It’s just really a delicious tea.

Hello friends, I selected this basilur four seasons collection Autumn tea for drinking.The tin that this tea comes in is shaped like a leaf from a bird's eye view. It's a very beautiful tin. The tea itself is light and has a maple flavor to it. If you like Maple coffee you will like this tea. I think it tastes very nice breve, with a soft top, hot. Definitely an Autumn cool season tea.

Basilur is known for its exotic, high quality tea blends, and their Autumn Tea lives up to their excellent reputation. The Ceylon Black tea leaves are aromatic and fresh; see my picture. There’s no sign of powder or broken, disintegrating pieces. The taste of maple is a good compliment, and I like to serve Autumn Tea with a hearty breakfast that includes pancakes. I also like to drink the tea while reading a good novel. The tin is lovely and looks nice on my shelf. Inside the tin is a fancy resealable zipper bag to keep the tea fresh.
