My 9yr old 5 cup coffee maker finally bit the dust, and I reluctantly looked to Amazon for a replacement. Apparently Elite Gourmet is(as a see it) an Amazon brand product. I saw a 4 cup maker, then a 5 cup on sale an ordered for next day delivery. They seem to be the same size but shows a top capacity of 5 cups. No matter I brewed my first pot simply and easily and am enjoying it as I write this review. If this little brewer/pot gives me even half the lifetime of my previous name brand, I say Amazon has chosen a winner to represent them. Easy to use, no plastic smell, a bit deceiving in cup capacity but the taste is great from this very first cup....may it continue to survive many years of daily use!

Does everything it says it wouldn't at a very low price. I particularly like the shape of the carafe. Nice large handle + efficient spout that doesn't spill when you pour the coffee.

Honestly, what's not to love about this little unit? Just the right size and has a food grade nylon filter so the healthy and beneficial oils in your morning cup are not trapped in paper, but get to where they do good for you. I hooked it up to a timer to have fresh brew as I got up, but it brews so fast I don't bother any more. It's no more or less noisy than other units I've owned. Brews great tasting coffee, but does not have a auto shut off, so I automatically shut it down and rinse it off before drinking my last cup. It's extremely easy to clean.

Worked great from may 2025 and just quit on Aug 7th 2025. The power button won't push in. I just went to Walmart and got a 5 cup programmable Mr Coffee. I paid $19.99 3 more bucks got me a 3 year warranty. PLUS ITS A KNOW BRAND. no complaints about this one. Just didn't last long. I had a 5 cup from Walmart before this one and it lasted 4 years before I broke the glass pot. I got that for $7.98 on sale. So I expected this one to last the same.

I tried it with water 💦 and made coffee ☕ I only used 4 cups for the coffee but when I tried to fill it up, it "leaked", there are two holes at the top of the tank to keep you from overfilling it. You can't put a whole pot of water or in it. The pot is more than 5 cups. I just won't try to. 🤔I'm transitioning from the Keurig which causes a big waste.It is slower than the Keurig but do you see how your lights dim when that machine brews? 🤪
