Works really well the wife loves it, we film metal detecting videos so need both hands so this is just the job.

Fantastic easy to use

Used to record my cooking scenes. I have an iPhone 15 which seems a bit heavy for the angle I need to film using this but I make do by adjusting the strap super tight. Magnet is very strong!

The media could not be loaded. I currently use a device to clamp my Osmo Pocket 3 to a shoulder strap of my bag, but this can result in fairly significant movement in my videos as my body sways.This magnetic mount will allow me to put the camera directly into the middle of my body so negate the movements within the video.As you can see in my video the magnets have no problem clamping together from a distance. A pull test shows me this won't be falling apart on you during use on a hike for example.This is not the lightest of accessories and just clamping it on a tshirt is probably just going to pull and stretch your tshirt. There's a necklace (two, in fact) to help mitigate that particular issue. The weight of the unit should ensure that the camera isn't moving around too much.

What a great idea, especially if you don't want to wear a bulky traditional GoPro harness. This works with VERY strong magnets either side of a garment. Ideally something substantial like a hoody or jumper rather than a t-shirt as the weight of the camera would just make it flop down and stretch a thin t-shirt.The Go Pro mount is a standard mount for all GoPro and the like and is adjustable to get the correct angle after it has sagged slightly.I used it on a waterproof outer jacket and it was ideal as the material did not stretch at all and had enough strength to keep it upright.Overall really good idea.

Below is my own real-world experience of using it.In terms of quality, it appears to be well-made - the construction is very robust, with a sleek finish. I found the magnets on each piece to be extremely strong, which fills me with confidence that the mount will not budge, once it has been assembled. This even works with clothing in between the two sides. You do also get two soft lanyard straps for the mount, and these are comfortable when laid next to the skin. My only complaint with those is that the length is not adjustable, so the camera ends up sitting quite low, and I feel that that may introduce more shaking from body movement.The box did not contain any instructions, which meant I had to figure out the assembly for myself, but did manage to get there in the end. My camera was compatible once it was inside its plastic case (you need something for the tightening screw to thread in, else there is nothing to hold the camera securely).Overall, a good value item.
