Great Replacement for Dell XPS 435 MT Factory Power Supply
This is a great powersuppy offering long cables with protective sleeves and several different connectors including the special 12pin Motherboard ones and PCI Power ones for some graphics cards (ATX12V v2.2 standard and is backwards compatible with ATX12V 2.01 systems). This power supply is also standard size from this ATX model (ATX PS/2 size: 5.9"(W) x 3.4"(H) X 5.5"(L); 150mm(W) x 86mm(H) x 140mm(L)).Quiet fan is really nice, and it is also temperture controlled so does not spin when not needed.User reports backup the quality of this powersupply as it has a good operational record so it should last several years and probably longer than the life of a typical computer. Even though people are not upgrading desktops so quickly now. This powersupply was a dropin replacement for my old Dell XPS 435 MT which is notorious for it's cheap unreliable factory power supply. I had to fight with that one for a while and I managed to get a couple more years out of it compared to many owners, but finally it just wasn't coming back live . This new one is a dream compared to the original and was a really affordable price.Recommended if you are trying to keep your Dell XPS 435 MT running a little longer, or any machine that uses this type of powersupply. Check the dimensions before ordering.

Silent But Deadly
This is 600 WATTS of pure muscle. It is quiet and efficient, idle settings are compatible with AMD Cool and Quiet. It is so quiet you would think it was dead. Unfortunately the case fans are ramped up so I could not here it even if it was. The thing looks great in the case. It comes with legacy Molex cables, 2 PCIe connectors, 1 CPU power connector, 20 + 4 power connector, enough SATA connectors to make your machine roar like a lion. For the fact that the thing runs at 600 WATTs I hope no one is dumb enough to take it a part. It is just as good as the enthusiast series. It has all the bells and whistles. You can't beat this beast of a power supply no matter how hard you look not for this price anyway. I am completely satisfied. You think it would drive the energy bill up the wall, but I am not running hardly anything yet so I see no difference.

Not bad at all.
I was worried by what others have said. It seems I have similar specs to several others, a GTX 760 and an I5 3.2ghz. My stock PSU from Avatar was crashing any time I played a demanding game, so I replaced it for a Corsair that had better amps on a single rail (which seems to be the reason for my crashes, prior). So far I've been without issue for over a month! I don't have a strange electrical buzzing that others reported, if anything it's far quieter than my stock PSU, I barely hear it, even when gaming heavily. As long as it withstands the test of time, I fully recommend this product. Only issue I have is actually plugging in the motherboard.. for whatever reason it was EXTREMELY tight, and the latch actually didn't snap so I wasn't sure it was plugged in properly till I turned it on after a half hour of worry and constant pushing. (thought I as gonna snap my board in half) Also, I freaked out a bit when I saw there was only a plug for an 8 pin CPU, though upon actually looking at the CPU connector, you can actually split it to fit the CPU, so that was more of a user error. It's a great product, and works well for the price range.

very good power supply! plus: if you are the first time diy pc builder, trust me, you wont go wrong with this power supply
I give four stars not because of any quality, performance, or other problems, I just want to catch the new buyers and the Corsair costumer service's attention....here is my pc spec: "asus z87-pro" motherboardcorsair 8gb memoryintel i5-4670k processorcooler master cpu cooling fanWD blue 500gb hard diskNZXT source 210 elite blackcx600 power supplylets start with con: I think there might be a compatibility problem between this power supply with the new z87 motherboard and the 4-gen processor. Asus's z87-pro is a good motherboard, it provides many cool functions, including the power saving feature. there are 4 ways to control the power usage: Auto, High Performance, Max Power Saving, and Away mode. The problem that I have now is the max power saving and away mode. when I click on the away mode, the pc starts to show up the away mode icon, however, it soon recovers back to normal, I think this power supply may not supports this feature or I got something wrong? If you guys who have the same spec with me, please tell me in the comment? thank you! Also, the max power saving mode I think it have the problem too because there is not much different between the high performance mode and the max power saving mode. I also checked out the compatibility chart of corsair power supply with the haswell processor on the internet, it says likely compatible. Therefore, please beware of that... I hope you guys and Corsairs costumer service will see it and can tell me what should I do :)finally, the pros: wow, that's a lot of pros, so I wont list them out one by one. I am also a first time pc builder, I thought it will be difficult when I need to plug the cable into each pc components correctly. however, I was wrong! everything was so easy, I didn't even read the manual, I just matched the shape of the cable with the pins and plugged them in, then I am done! the cable management was also easy, what I did just use a paper and a pencil to draft out what I need to do before I did the cable management. so I would not make those stupid mistakes during I build my pc.
