Very good solution - impressed and recommend
After reading all the reviews, good, bad and ugly, I think this device is very good. My mom has multiple other ways to call 911 -- her phone, a jitterbug as a backup -- but if she were to fall, then she would not be able to reach and use those. She also is not keen on wearing devices like a pendant around her neck or on her wrist. based on my research not only on Amazon but company that has initials LA and others, this device was the most economical way to have a call button that I would attach to her rollator walker that she keeps next to her bed and uses when she walks which is rarely. LA harassed me to no end with sales calls. I had to block them because it was so obnoxious. They wanted $250 up front to set it up with their tech people and more than $70/mo. I checked into other options. I ordered this one and tested it and was impressed with the simplicity and functionality, sound, and signal strength especially how long it stays charged (5 days). Before I opened the box I called customer service and they were very helpful. My concerns were that the device might not work in my mother's area which is not in a major city and also has sketchy cell phone service because her place is in a low spot. I asked them what service providers they used and was told Verizon and AT&T. They told me if it the device would not get reception that I could return it using the Amazon 30-day window to do so. If I returned it after that time frame then it would have to be returned to them but that they would send me all the information and materials to do that and reminded me that if that were to be the case to make sure I called them first to deactivate the device so that it would not be notifying me on the app as it bumped along the way back to them :-). Anyway, all good so far, we have had it for several weeks. No issues and the price is right.

Shady business practices, difficult to set up
Couldn’t get the device working.Says first month free..TLDR; they trick you into a 6 month contract and you never even paid for the device!!! Stay away!Didn’t even end up using it, then wondered why my elderly mother kept getting calls requesting a monthly payment like they’re debt collectors.I got tired of it, talked to them, come to find out the first month was never actually free and the payment for this device on here isn’t even to own the device. It’s you paying for the first month, then getting suckered into a 6 month contract that they hide in their terms of service.Here’s the bigger kicker, if you don’t pay 6 months, they expect you to send the device back with no refund or anything what so ever. Then they’ll harass you or your loved ones because they hid their business model in a way no one would realistically even notice.Extremely predatory company, imo anyone should stay as far away as possible.Reported to the BBB, others, and Amazon for not disclosing any of that on top of stating no hidden fees; which is clearly false advertisement as well.Told them they can get their device back when they actually disclose their practice on their Amazon listing 🤷♂️

Peace of mind for caregivers
My dad is very elderly and had a bad fall before we got the necklace, he waited 4 hours unable to reach the phone until I arrived to care for him. We purchased this necklace the next day and it has given us so much security and peace of mind. Now dad is confident to walk around his home, knowing he has his necklace to call for help any time of day or night if needed. He was scared to lose his independence and afraid he would have to move in with a family member or go to a assisted living home. Now with this necklace he can retain his independence and continue to live in his own home, and pursue his hobbies and visit friends.The operators that answer the button on his necklace are prompt, kind, patient, and easy to understand and their voice can be heard clearly through the necklace. They contacted me quickly when dad needed my help.I used to have to drive to dad's daily to check on him because he often forgot to carry his phone with him. But with the necklace he always has help on call if needed, so I can take a day off and still have peace of mind that he is okay.The battery life on the necklace is great, I get an alert on my phone when battery low so know when time to charge, and it only seems to need charging about once weekly.I also like to check in on the app to make sure dad is at his home, and can tell how he is feeling by how many steps he takes in a day. I also like how the app tells me when he gets out of bed in the morning so I know he is doing well and when I need to call to check in on him.If you are considering this necklace or this company I strongly urge you to give them a try. It has added so much security and peace to our lives, I give them a full 5 stars.

You will not be disappointed

IT IS A SCAM! Hard to set up & won't let you cancel
I purchased this item for my mom in Oct '24, only for it to take me 3 months of paying for monitoring to see that she wasn't even being monitored. I tried to call and get online help, to no avail. So, in March I called and canceled, only to have them charge me in April and tell me that they can't cancel the program until I send back the fob. They emailed a label on 4/2 and I sent the item right back, it finally arrived to them on April 18th, and yet I have been charged for MAY, nor have I received my refund for the $50 fob!!! These people are charlatans and grifters. If you love your loved one, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS JUNK! Junk monitor and junk monitoring company!!!
