Works as specified
Though the structure appears weak, after mounting it in an epoxy paste and distorting it, the impedance remained steady in subsequent use.

Visual Pinball Fans
If you were shopping for a linear variable resistor to use with you pinscape device. This is the one you want! High reliability and smooth action. No jitter compared to the distance sensor varietyIt also matches the 3d print Ed bracket found on thingverse perfectly.Posting since I wish someone would have confirmed when I built my first cabinet

Five Stars
High quality, if a little spendy.

Low cost slide pot, missing partial order
I tested this with an arduino and it worked.Note that if you are looking for very accurate results this may not work for your needs. I would say accuracy to be with in around 1/8"- 1/4" .Also they do not ship the correct amount of ordered products.

not linear
I was sent a log potentiometer B10K, not linear (should have been A10K)

Great For Virtual Plunger
I am building a virtual pinball machine. Software running the pinball tables is capable of translating electrical resistance into plunger position values which is then used to launch a virtual pinball. (If you're interested there is a wealth of online videos demonstrating this.)This potentiometer works very well for this and fits nicely in 3D printer designs which can be found on Thingaverse. In the photo you can see the pot placed in a mount in which I've cut a side away for illustration purposes. This 3D print was just a trial and I will be redesigning and printing another mount.
