Feel like cheap plastic at a high price.
It gets two stars because it fit, and it seals.It only gets two stars because it's cost a lot for a cheap piece of plastic, and it's ridiculously difficult to open and close. The term "flip up" is completely lost. These are pry open with all the strength you have in your finger tips, and press closed using 100 pounds of force.If OEM scope manufacturers can make gorgeous ones that flick open and can hold multiple positions made of aluminum, why would a company that makes these specifically cheap out, at then charge so much?I do not recommend these.

Better than vortex caps for a little more!
I have 8 vortex scopes. I have the rubber backed caps vortex offers on a few. I will say these caps are a lot better. If you have a viper pst 5-25x50 it fits perfectly. I had to shave a little off the bottom of the cap to close. If your scope bell is closer than .400 of an inch you will need to shave some material of the bottom of the lens cap.
