It is easy to set up and simple to operate. Each of its many functions perform well. The sound quality is excellent for such a compact radio and it is of sturdy construction. The winding mechanism is easy to operate and the SOS function is effective. It also doubles as a Bluetooth speaker. The battery appears to be retaining its charge well so I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the recharging facilities. The torch is very bright, but has a very narrow beam.I’m very satisfied with this product

I brought this in Feb, now may, i use it every day during my lunch cos the EV van radio goes off after 10 mins, and i just love it. I mainly use it with the SD card as an ipod kind of thing. The digital radio is OK with my arial outside the van at a pinch. The radio is always on my dash, solar panel always facing out. It got me out of a pinch when my iPhone battery died, gave me just enough juice to get to my business apps. So yeh, well worth the money.

I wanted a newer DAB radio with DAB plus. Build quality is good and the unit is easy to set up. Been using it for a week now and am well pleased with this purchase. I sit it on the window sill so the unit charges during the day via the solar cell inbuilt in the radio back case. You can charge the radio via a usb cable supplied if required, via a powered usb socket / plug (not suplied). You can also listen to your own music via a mini sd card slot on the radio. I already had a spare 32gb card handy, just slide into the slot and off you go. Was not impressed with the white noise and other audio listening clips as a sleep aid although maybe it would be useful to some. Inclusion of a miniature compass was not a good idea. It also has a fairly bright small torch and a screaming banshee alarm, hope I will not need these in my living room.

I bought this DAB rechargeable radio a few months ago and only took it out of the box to test it in November. At the time, it seemed to work fine. However, when I tried to use it today, it refuses to power on. The only thing that happens is the charging light comes on—no display, no sound, nothing.I’ve tried different charging cables and outlets, but the result is the same. For a product that was barely used, this is really disappointing. I expected better reliability, especially for something designed to be portable and rechargeable. Unless this is a rare fault, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Had the radio for a week. Great little piece of kit it's lightweight the sound is loud torch is bright nice and compact with a great little protective box

Perhaps too early to roll out a full assessment but arrived in due time. Set up was fine. The light works with actually quite good beam. The compass no big deal but it works. The Channel tuning into FM and DAB works fine. Volume dial firm. Sound is surprisingly stable and clear. The mode button selecting works fine and the option for white noise is a novel inclusion. What still needs a real test is the solar power option to charge, and the crank option. USB option to charge was successful. The headphone, and blue tooth also remain untested. I dread the drop test or knocking it over "accidently" but hope unlike other models that this portable unit will fare better. Overall reasonably impressed at this point.
