My daughter gifted me this as well as the Kerasilk smoothing mask and my hair feels incredibly soft and shiny. I'm over 65 with dry-colored hair and this has done wonders for hydration, silkiness, shine, and no heaviness. I've tried numerous high-end products to no effect. This is a keeper! Love it!

I tried the Kerasilk Color Protecting Shampoo with mixed feelings. While it did a decent job of preserving the vibrancy of my colored hair, I found it lacking in some aspects. On the positive side, it lathered well, and the fragrance was pleasant without being overpowering. My hair felt clean and soft after use, and I did notice a subtle improvement in color retention.However, I can't overlook the fact that it's on the pricier side compared to other color-protecting shampoos, and the results were not outstanding. I was hoping for a more noticeable difference in maintaining the color of my hair, especially considering the cost. Additionally, I found that it left my hair feeling slightly weighed down, and I had to use a clarifying shampoo more frequently to avoid any build-up. While it's not a bad product, I believe there are more affordable options on the market that provide similar or even better results, making it a somewhat average choice for color-treated hair.
