Respirator Gas Mask With 6001 Filters, Gas Masks Survival Nuclear and Chemical for Painting, Organic Vapors

The masks came perfectly packaged. I think the directions could’ve been a little bit more specific as they come with filters and I wasn’t sure which side to put down in the mask versus what is exposed to the air. Hopefully, I got it right. Nice fit good material.

This is a decent quality basic respirator. It uses standardized cartridges and filters so they're easily replaced when needed. The fit seems to pretty good, I have a larger than average head and there's enough adjustment to make it fit. I expect if you normally wear smaller sizes you may have a lot of adjustment strap pulled through and dangling, but as long it seals against your face you can easily trim those once adjusted if needed. I use mine with 3d printing. Resins for 3d printing emit a fair amount of know toxic chemicals and a respirator along with proper ventilation are a must when using them. This is roughly half the price of an equivalent 3M mask and as far as I can tell will be perfectly adequate for the task.My only complaint is the box it comes in was simply placed in a mailing bag for shipment so when I received mine the box had been damaged inside the bag and was basically useless. Nothing was damaged and each part is individually packaged inside the box so not a huge deal but if your mail tends to get beat up it might be of importance.

This is a great respirator! I wore it do some car spray painting with 2K clear coat, and I didn't smell anything. Until I took the mask off! This is a great deal and even comes with extra cotton refills.

4.5 stars. First off, this mask is made of silicone, which will be great for many as long as you're not allergic. The mask is comfortable to wear for several hours at a time and it seals well against my face. Who knows how well the filter would work against actual nasty VOCs or gasses. The weak point here is the elastic straps, which to me feel of lower quality. That said, the elastic strapping is easily replaceable if you wanted to continue using this mask, but at the price point it may be cheaper/easier to buy a new one. All in all, 4.5 stars. It's a good mask at a great price point. I wouldn't put it against my 3M masks I use for painting cars and other really nasty stuff. This mask is in the middle, better than a disposable paper mask, but also not a professional mask. It's a good choice if you need a mask for say a month or so while doing insulation work or as in my case a crawlspace encapsulation.

Works great cant smell anything so i assume it works and feels comfortable on the face

I bought this for working in the shop, especially for welding and doing metal work on my project car. Having never used this type, I was apprehensive about how it would fit with my glasses and how well I could breath in it. The fit is excellent on my face even with my glasses… maybe everyone is different but it seems like it might adapt well to various faces. I also found it very effective in filtering air while still being easy to breath

Arrived just in time to take it with me to FL to hekp family with hurricane damage to their home (to protect from mold growing in house). Unfortunately when I tried putting it together to use it, the cap for one side of the filter was the entirely wrong cap and wouldn't fit, so I couldnt even use it. Since I needed one immediately as I was there already, I had to buy a different one. I tried to return it and was unable to due to the nature of the prodect even though it was not used because I couldn't use it because it was defective, but they said it didnt matter and declined my return request! Very disappointed in the quality control of this product to include the right parts.

Straps too short for average head. My 3m has 3 to 6 inches of adjustment at the 4 points of tighteningThis one tight on face, out of box, no excess to adjust .
