The weight i was looking for for my Titanic sink and split model project

Well I can't say it's 99.9% lead. But what I can say it after melting it down I had a lot of slag. The waste part of melting lead. I had 58.42 grams of slag.Now that's not a lot of weight but out of 2 pounds that's a lot. Especially if it was truly 99.9% lead. Now slag is normally the impurities of melting down a given metal. So if i do the math 2 oz of slag from 32 oz of lead is not making this 99.9 % pure lead. If you follow me. I tried getting every bit of usable lead out of the slag. Heating it 3 times to ensure all the lead was free of the slag.I only got this because I needed a little more lead for a project I had. So it was enough to do the job with a little left over.Now the slag will go into my scrap can and be sold to a scrapyard.Never put lead in trash. It can get into ground water. And can lead to birth defects. Wash your hands after touching this product.
