Essential for a broken foot
After difficulty using crutches and a walker, I purchased this knee scooter and was skeptical of my ability to use it in a way that was helpful and safe. I was very happy that it was easy to assemble. And, pleasantly surprised that at 5ft, the size was perfect on the lowest setting and that it allowed me to maneuver and get around inside and outside, easily and without fear of additional injury. As long as you are able to rest some of your weight on your lower leg and knee this is a good alternative for longer excursions if you do not have the upper body strength to manage crutches or a walker. Excellent quality and there are several setting that would make it a good fit for taller individuals as well.

This is a handy little scooter!
This is a great little scooter. I broke my ankle and can't use crutches very well, so I bought this. Delivery was quick, I got it in 2 days.Assembly was simple, the instructions are both pictures AND text. I put it together in about 15 minutes by myself, just a matter of connecting three parts and bolting them in.The scooter rolls very smoothly, I have hardwood and laminate floors. I use it more like a wheelchair scooter than on one knee as I have arthritis in my knees and it's painful to do it that way. I'm about 180 pounds, and the scooter supports my weight very well. The hand brakes hold securely, which is important because I have to transfer off and on the scooter when I'm getting around and don't need it shooting out from under me. By raising the seat, it is enabling me to do household chores such as dishes and feeding the cats. And adjusting the seat isn't that difficult, just take out the bolt, set it and put the bolt back in.One accessory you need to consider getting is a seat pad. The seat on the scooter isn't very forgiving as far as comfort. It feels like a hard rubber cushion. It's going to be hard on the knees without some sort of padding. I got my cover here on Amazon too.The only drawback is the turning radius.....there's a lot of back and forth in tight spaces when I'm moving around, but it's no big deal. I'm getting pretty good at parallel parking the scooter! This little scooter is actually making my life easier. I'd be totally stuck without it. I would recommend this to anyone who is healing from surgery or broken bones.

Nice knee scooter.
Good knee scooter. The hardware included is a little different than the instructions show so that was frustrating at first until we figured it out, and the knob bolts only go in completely through one side which also was unclear with the instructions.

Great product. Practical
This scooter it’s absolutely a life saver . It’s firm and easy to maneuver. I wish the cushion was a littler thicker , but I got a memory foam pad for it and it’s perfect.

Possible design flaw?
The scooter has been amazing! However, there is a design flaw.I’ll add a picture below, but the scooter fell apart yesterday with me riding on it, thankfully my non-weight-bearing foot was not injured..There is a design flaw. There is a screw that holds the seat in that that has no securement for the other side. This is the second time this has happened. The first time I wasn’t writing on. It just seems like if you are lifting it it can easily come out, so please make sure you check after transporting the scooter. Also, the right handbrake has gone out on the handle part side.Overall, it’s been so helpful in my recovery after foot surgery. I think this is probably just something in the manufacturers could add in for safety.

Replace crutches or cane… totally worth it
I have a torn Achilles tendon and I’m looking at a minimum of three weeks with no load bearing on my foot. My cane doesn’t work obviously because I have to have both feet on the ground and it caused excruciating pain in my heel. I would have tried crutches, but my doctor just had ankle surgery and told me that I could get one of these scooters on Amazon for a reasonable price and I ordered it before I left the doctors office!!! . I have too many other issues with my spine and hands to be able to use crutches. This little cart has a bag that hangs on the front for carrying stiff and that alone has made a huge difference. When you first open the box, you really just wanna close it and walk away from it because it looks like it’s in 1 million pieces. However, it went together rather easily (completely without instructions needed). There are a couple of things that don’t seem to work properly, but I am investigating them, because it is all put together properly. (I checked after I put it together 🤣)I was hoping it would be a little bit lighter than it is it’s a tad heavy, which will affect my ability to transport it for use outside of the house. But I have wood floors and having this is like having a toy in my house and I roll around just for fun, and practice not hitting walls and corners and doorways, etc. The biggest problem I have is getting it lined up to go through the doorway!I love it, it was a worthwhile purchase, especially if this turns into a months long, epic journey of healing.
