We don't frequently mount gear on the roof so I didn't want to spend a fortune. At the same time, I didn't want a piece of junk, especially something that is attached to the top of your car going down the highway at 70 mph. After comparing various options and checking reviews I discovered this set of cross bars for our '24 Pilot TrailSport and they seemed to be the perfect balance of quality and price. The components are all solid aluminum - no plastic other than a protective bumper strip on the top of the bars. All components were well packaged and arrived without any scratches or other damage.Installation is straightforward although the printed instructions fail to mention the adhesive foam gasket pads at the rail mounting points. Fortunately, it's both intuitive these should be installed and also there are several YouTube installation videos that point this out. The components are marked with both printed stickers and also arrows molded into the brackets indicating installation orientation. The end result is confidently sturdy and good looking as well. While not absolutely required, it is helpful to have two people for installation to avoid any paint damage to the roof.If I had any complaint, it would be the screw hardware provided. The screws seem of decent quality and I did not encounter any concerns of length as a few other reviews seem to mention (though it's difficult to know if they were installing correctly), but the shiny stainless finish kind of stands out against the black finish of both the roof rails and these bars themselves - I would prefer black screw hardware to be included. However, if this is the extent of concern with a product of this type then that shows how good it is overall. A few screws are cheap at the hardware store if I desire to swap them out (or simply apply some dark nailpolish to the screw heads).While we have not yet carried anything substantially heavy or oversized like canoes, we did use it to bring our Christmas tree home recently. The solid aluminum construction of these cross bars would seem to suggest their 200+ lb rating is accurate. While anything mounted to a vehicle's roof will create some additional wind noise, I have found the 'winged' type swept oval design of these cross bars fairly quiet and certainly not obtrusive.In general, I am satisfied with these cross bars and would suggest them to others.

Seems to be good quality, was a direct fit and easy install. Hardware is strong and brackets are heavy.

High quality. Installation was a bit of a pain, but it was worth the effort. I would recommend this to anyone looking for cross bars for their luggage rack.

These fit perfectly on our 2022 Honda Pilot and were so much less than getting them intalled by the dealer. Very simple to install. Did get a little help to hold one side while I installed the other side to keep from scratching the car but other than that, the installation was a breeze.

Everything seems to be fine now. We'll see how it goes.

The coating on the feet were damaged upon arrival, but i can tell they never been installed before because there are no bolt/washer marks on any part.The slender washer is prong to crack while tightening.The manual does not have a torque value, so i referred to the OEM manual, and the slender washer cracked at 70% of the OEM torque. Now i cannot trust the part staying on my roof giving that the OEM plastic and take the torque, but this metal cannot?

GET M6-40mm BOLTS! Here are the measurements I took with my measuring tape (estimations).Front of bolt to Start of Rail: 3/4 in = 19.05mmRail: 1.25in = 31.75mmFront of bolt to end of rail: 2in = 50.8mmThe ones that come with it are 14mm and 20mm M6 bolts. 14mm are fine cause they go into the bar and ends. But the 20mm go into the end holders and into the side rails. They go in but not deep enough. You will need longer bolts. 40mm is perfect. Then you will have the 20mm left over and I recommend using them in the 14mm area. Just to have better support, stability and peace of mind.The Installation was simple, not easy but simple. It’s a tedious process cause I don’t have a hex wrench socket. Just used the included tools. Worked perfectly fine. But once installed they look dashing, especially on a black Pilot. These blend in perfectly. Showed my mom and friends and they said these look Stock. Haven’t tested them yet as far as loading something in there, but I’m confident they can hold a good amount of weight.Very happy with them.

Ordered and installed on our ‘22 Honda Pilot. Materials are solid and the fit is great. The design matches the vehicle well. Instructions were clear enough but the steps did not include the cushion sticker install process where cross bars connect to rails. Figured it out and it all tightened up well. Placed the Allen wrench in the glove box in case I ever need to tighten later.
