This was a filter I have been needing for years because my shower water is filled with chemicals which caused my skin to break out with itchy rashes. My hair was falling out in clumps! I did a lot of research and decided to buy this “weAQUA NO BS Heavy Duty Shower Filter with 99% REMOVAL. This Filter head was made for hard water, which I have, and is supposed to remove the Chlorine, Fluoride, Heavy Metals, Lead, Iron and other chemicals in my shower water.It must be working because after taking a few showers and washing my hair with this filter I can really see and feel the difference in my scalp and skin. I no longer have itchy bumps and my hair is shinier and healthier than ever.It is extremely easy to install. Took all of 15 minutes. There are no leaks so far and the water pressure was even better than what I had before installing this filter! Since I loved how this filter worked I decided to also buy a filtered handheld shower head so I now have double filtration. I highly recommend this filter.

Used for 3 months and replaced with new cartridge. Works great, love how my hair and skin feel since we have hard water. Easy to install, didn't affect the water flow from what I can tell and cost effective.

I like the design and cartridge replacement process. I accidentally over tightened the center part that holds the filter and it made it leak in the center seam. So, I unscrewed it and found there is a soft rubber seal or gasket in there that was scrunched up from me over tightening it. Once I pulled that out and gently pushed it all the way around so it was nice and flat, it fixed the leaking issue. They give you a couple more, which is great! I couldn't imagine trying to search for that size on my own! Mine worked perfectly with my basement shower as shown, I threw two different shower head pieces together to make this setup. So, if it fits this scenario, you're probably good to go! LOLMy goal was to stop absorbing chlorine when I shower or even shower my dog. I'm curious if my dog itches less, because I'm not pooring chlorine all over them. It's amazing how fast our skin can absorb chlorine, I'm done with it and I'm anxious to see how it helps! For this price, just grab one and put it somewhere, where it works. If you like the results, then think about saving for a whole house or under the sink filter next! That's my plan and I'm sticking to it!👍

I loved that this product just made sense! So many on the market seemed like gimmicks, with see through plastic handles and crazy layers full of nonsense! The product is well made and was easy to install. No BS!

This worked really well for about 2-3 weeks. I hadn't noticed that the water pressure had slowly been decreasing until the day that I colored my hair jet black. What a mess I made! The water was barely removing the hair color because there was no water pressure. I didn't know whether to wait for the trickle of water coming out of the showerhead to remove all of the hair color, or to remove the filter. I decided to remove the filter, but not before big drops of hair dyed water stained every inch of my bathroom. When I removed the filter, it looked like the screen was clogged. I debated cleaning the screen and putting the filter back, or just removing it and buying a different brand. I decided to research another brand. When I put the showerhead back on (without the filter), the water pressure was back full force and I was finally able to finish showering and removing the hair color. It was good while it lasted, but you get what you pay for. 2 - 3 weeks is not long enough for a shower filter to work. No one wants to tinker with plumbing that often!
