Kotion Each S1 Pro Gaming Headset 2.0 Channel USB 7.1 Sound Card

I am writing this review after using it for about 3 months....first of all the sound quality.....I must say that the sound quality is amazing from these. If you donot have a premium motherboard then you will surely get better and louder sound than your motherboard.treble -10/10mids -9/10bass - 9.5/10I also compared the sound with redmi 4, 4a and redmi note 4. I found that it was better than these three devices. the sound quality was similar and much louder as compared to my sony music player which was around 3.5k(I forgot the model no)pros:good built qualitygood sound qualityvolume control and mute keyslooks nicecons:maximum volume is loud but if you have premium headsets(on or over the ear) then you will not get high volumes.Now the next question is, should you buy it or not?If you are a gamer and want to drive a powerful headphone which your motherboard isn't capable of, then i would not recommend this product.. you should buy an amplifier i.e a DAC, as these are not powerful enough and you won't get good volumes out of gaming headsets(which require high power)If you have a faulty motherboard, then you should go for this product (as cheap Rs200 sound cards are just trash)If you want to listen to music and watch movies, then also I would recommend this product(as I had a lot of fun watching movies and animes)extras:)1. you get four enhancement settings in windows : bass boost, loudness equalization, virtual sound, and room correction.2. you can plug in 2 headphones at the same time and you get sound from both of them(useful if you have a friend).3. you will have to restart your web browsers if you change any of the enhancements, but apps like your music player or video player will remain unaffected(If you didn't got this point then you will get to know it after you use it )why I bought it??? It was because I wanted better sound

Good product. I was little skeptical when I ordered this product, whether it won't work like other cheap USB sound card, however it really worked and sound is good. No installation of drivers needed in win 10. I can say, it is near match to the motherboard sound card. Let's see how long durable. I have been using this for last three days. Most other cheap USB cards stopped working after couple of days ( I tried atleast 5). Fyi, I am using 10 year old desktop machine which internal sound card was broken.Edit: Have been using this for a month now. It is really good.

Great substitute for a damaged sound card or a damaged headphone/earphone jack input port. In fact, the manufacturer's claims that the sound quality output would probably be better than that of your PC/laptop sound card's audio output are fairly accurate and true. I had some issues fitting my earphones/headphones into the port/s of this external sound card, even though they have the standard 3.5mm jack like most ear/headphones, but that was my one and only complaint. Soon enough I had figured out that the head/earphone jack needed to be adjusted slightly and I started to pull it toward the exterior of the port instead of shoving it all the way into the port(as I had done initially) and with that alignment complete the phones work perfectly fine with this card now- and the sound output quality (and volume level) is comparable and maybe be even slightly better than my PC's original sound card. I still need to try out the microphone port, but the audio output is great. A very useful product and brilliant at this price point, 2 thumbs up- (to the manufacturer, seller and amazon).

This review comment are for those who are technical person, the reason behind to set this parameter is that most of the comment I have read here is from some general user or any youtuber. But I want to highlight one point here few points1. "Have you visited the kotion website yet ?" you'll not able to see this product any of there sitemap anywhere else.2. "Does it really do what it meant to be ?" to be very frank does it really support 7.1 ? Does it really amplify the sound ? Does it really reduce the noise and distortion ?3. "Does it really deliver the contiguous response ? till how long ?"I am a gamer and play mostly online games, I do watch HD videos ,online movies too but frankly speaking by comparing the audio quality of product and default win10 HD sound there is barely difference and that one is not countable also.While playing the game I have been disconnected several times for that I needed to unplug and plug the device again that is not at all acceptable that really raise your temper. Every single time the online gaming server changes its state or map that time its stops working even the LED is blinking but still fails to deliver the audio.After order the first I have replaced this product thinking of some manufacture defect but when I have received the second same product with the same faults that time called several times to customer care but the response is very low as there is only packaging guy to response the call and no other personnel was there.

Product is good but while using it sound is not getting to full volume.Getting low sound while playing games and or listening music.

This Adapter Audio Cable can support earphones, headphones, microphone and gaming headsets so very useful. Very easy to use because it's just plug and play, there is 3 ports for Only Mic, Only Headphones and Mic and Headphones both also you can cut out your headphones and mic via two buttons one for each, there is on nob for volume Up/Down.I prefer this for recording my audio after I plug in my BOYA M1 microphone and use Audacity Software in PC.Build quality is not that much good so maybe Kotion improve in next version.
