This knife is awesome. The sharpness out of the box was wicked sharp. The size is fairly big as well but it's not as bulky as like the shaman it fits in your hand like it was made to be their. It's really easy to open the knife in whatever position possible.

A work horse of a knife.Razor sharp and easy to sharpen.Lock inspires confidence. Lightweight but dense if you know what i mean.

Extremely sharp , hair whittling ! When I took it out of the box I immediately noticed it was extremely sharp. Not to mention how well made and solid it was . But that’s Spyderco . Tested the sharpness on a few things like the paper test and such but the real test came when I took a hair out of one of my wife’s brushes and basically whittle it. I can’t say all of them will come like this, but sure happy this one did :)

Ergos, blade shape, comfort and feel in hand, materials - all these rate a ten. This is by by now a timeless design, excellent for edc and even some heavier tasks. The locking and release mechanism is one of the best too.
